    Classic palm is a very important sleight in coin magic. But my problem is that I barely have muscles on my palm that it is soft making it difficult to hold the coin in a natural open hand position. Although I do other coin sleights, I stay away with CP instead I use the thumb clip.

    Thanks for your question Ric, I think it is very useful for everyoneI First of all, you should try again with this tutorial. Please forget about other teachings you have studied previously, and you will be able to do it without any problems. So far 100% of my students can do the classic palm very well. If you can write, with the same hand, it means that you have enough muscles to do the classic palm very well. You absolutely don't need a hard muscle, in fact if your muscle is soft, in some cases is even better. You need a normal muscle, the one that allows you to pick up a pen in your hand or your wallet to pay at the supermarket. Please study this tutorial thoroughly. But if you don't understand everything with just the tutorial, you can take an online lesson with me. and In a couple of lessons I will teach you the classic palm perfectly! About the Thumb clip palm: Thumb palm is another technique that you need for different things. The thumb clip is a technique that does not allow you to work in close-up with more than one person in front of you, and you can only do 5% of what you can do with the classic-palm. The Classic palm is irreplaceable with another technique if you want to do a performance for a real audience.

    Thanks a lot for sharing this. I've been practicing with this technique for a few months now and really like it (much easier than the 'traditional' way of doing classic palm for me), but I was wondering if it's possible to do a muscle pass from this position?

  • @giacomobertinimagic

    @giacomobertinimagic

    Жыл бұрын

    Very good question: it's actually more difficult, but the muscle-pass position is actually not the exact position of the classic palm. In fact, in the position of the muscle pass you cannot perform a good malini's subtlety. Let me explain: the position of the muscle-pass is used to be able to quickly send out a coin that is in classic-palm. But to be able to do this you have to position a coin in a different way and this causes many problems in my opinion, because in reality the position of the classic palm must be done in order not to drop the coin. If you use the muscle pas position first of all you have a better chance of losing the coin, plus the hand is not a natural position. However, there are some magicians who use my method and who manage to perform a good muscle pass. The advantage of my method is that it is impossible to lose a coin that is in classic palm. I personally prefer not to use the muscle pass, but if you write to me privately I can give you other tips for using both methods. Maybe later I'll do some subscription tutorials for this topic and other similar topics.

    @@giacomobertinimagic Wow, thank you so much for the detailed response! I'm still quite new to coin magic so don't want to trouble you any more now - you've already more than answered my question, and I may instead contact you about a lesson if I want to explore this further when I'm a bit more advanced. Really appreciate you taking the time to provide your insight, and thanks again for the great videos. (BTW your book is next on my want-to-buy list and I hope to pick up a copy in the next few months.)

    Formando un angolo di 90° con il pollice questo non è disteso come nel video. Quindi qual'è il modo per poter sringere con il muscolo tenare la moneta in modo da poter distendere il palmo come nel video?

  • @giacomobertinimagic

    @giacomobertinimagic

    4 жыл бұрын

    Si la presa la devi effettuare esattamente con un angolo a 90 gradi, solo con il muscolo tenar del pollice. Una volta effettuata la presa, come viene spiegato dettagliatamente anche nel mio libro, il pollice è più mobile quindi più disteso come nel video. Se vuoi puoi scrivermi direttamente al mio indirizzo email bertinimagician@gmail.com

    is this the proper way to classic palm a coin, i have seen people pushing the the coin in with the ring finger and the middle finger and in a slightly different position, the person is aka. David Roth, but after i learn this, i am so impressed on how good this technique of the classic palm is, and I am confused, on which technique/method should i use, his method or david roth? who should i learn or choose from?

    Intanto complimenti , davvero immenso , sia come spiegazioni , sia come tecnica, sto studiando il metodo assiduamente , ma in effetti il pollice non rimane come nel video , o meglio non riesco a distenderlo , come da tutorial (userò il Tu , ma se questo dovesse offendere mi scuso in anticipo , e ritorno immediatamente al Lei ) ovviamente non posso pretendere da praticamente profano di emulare un Maestro, però porca bestia mi sembra, vedendo la tua mano di vedere una sensazione assoluta di relax, guardando al mia invece sembra quella di uno che ha preso e sta prendendo una scossa a 50.0000 V... un altra domanda, mi è sembrato di capire che il tuo libro sia solo in inglese.. esiste anche una versione in italiano? sai parlo l'inglese come una vacca svizzera... grazie e ancora complimenti , Alex
