This is what you do as an adult. You take the time to introduce kids to good ingredients, proper techniques, and demonstrate how they can make good, healthy, and hearty food for themselves and their loved ones. It isn't a mystery... they just need the right mentors and teachers to show them and guide them. This applies to any area of instruction. Good teacher + willing student + patience = the next generation's success. Brilliant!

I hope the advertisers are hooking Mr. Jack up because I love this cat! I am a 60 year old man, an organic gardner, a workout/exercise fanatic who eats super healthy. I've always been able to cook, but these past holidays it became a very addictive hobby. I rolled on the floor laughing when dude scooped out BACON GREASE to start his chowder base, lol! When I was growing up we saved it too but I've never seen a celeb chef drop it like that! I am making this recipe for sure...and I will garnish with an 80mg Lipitor cuz I'm going with the bacon grease! Well done!

I'm not an overly emotional person, but this video really brought tears to my eyes. What a total class act you were, Jack. Savannah will always have this memory to hold on to, and it's a blessing to witness for all of us. Rest in peace.
Can't get enough of this... sniff, sniff....got something in my eye...
Damn I miss not getting his new videos 😢 Rest In Peace, big man! 🕊️
I'm back watching it again, what a cool guy he was and good cook.
Love seeing this child excited and appreciative. Wonderful
Rip jack you brought so much joy to my life
I appreciate you being patient with this young lady! She's WONDERFUL! I imagine she is very nervous around the chef. She's willing to learn your techniques! Please give all your knowledge.🙂

West Point clothes says it all. She was surely raised right!
The best chowder recipe/non-recipe I have ever seen, the way cooking was since the beginning of time
Jack you are great my man, very few things can match teaching youngin's valuable things like this. Even small things like having the confidence to stand in a hot kitchen and reach over the burners. Fantastic channel.
I love his just do it it attitude. dont be afraid, just do it! Its your recipe and it will always be good!
One of my favorite channels to watch.
RIP Jack thank you for all that you’ve done 🙏🫡
Just love how you are sharing your vast knowledge with this tender soul
Not sure how I ended up on this channel, but I love watching this Chef perform and explain, it's like watching my father as a little kid on who what where and why.
Savanah is precious. So is Jack 😊
That is awesome to cook with him. Just seeing the smile on her face is priceless.
Daddy Jack's stove burners have 2 settings- off, and blast furnace! Love to watch him cook!.
I love watching you cook no measuring you just know how much to put in. You make it look so easy. I love to cook myself but can not cook like you. Lol

Great episode !! You can tell the young lady really enjoyed being there watching. She paid close attention and enjoyed it. So did we. Thank you and please keep up the good work. It's nice to see a chef in the kitchen that has class unlike some of the more popular TV chefs these days. You're a credit to the profession.
Daddy jack, you are the man's man of your style of cuisine. I cannot stop watching and learning from you. You are influencing people all around the world. God bless you daddy jack!. By the way I'm a buddy guy man!.🇦🇺

I saw Buddy here in New London. I was praising his guitar player. Buddy got pissed and told me to shut the fuck up. I said ok, ok take it easy. He was nasty but I let it slide, I was feeling good! email me your address and I'll send you a blues cd I just produced. cookingwiththeblues@yahoo.com

Hello from Nova Scotia!! I watch your videos often and today hearing you say Nova Scotia is great. I knew there was a reason I can't stop watching your videos!!!
Looks Fabulous🤗 You are so good explaining and inspiring that little one in the art of creating something delicious.
Taking time to master an art and time to teach that mastery is a true act of love. Love of the art and love of the pupil. Well done, sir.
Every episode I imagine Jack saying: "I'm Jack Chaplin, and this is my Masterclass..."

Thank you for this video. Looks like a superb chowder. R.I.P., Jack; clearly, you were a really nice guy. I never knew you, but I miss you. "Send not to ask for whom the bell tolls...."
What a great man! A kind soul, and wonderful teacher!
I really like how you did this show with Savannah, it adds a lot of interest. Great feeling cooking for others.
You may no longer be physically with us, but that bigger than life soul of yours lives in all of us. RIP my friend.
Didn't know Billy Joel had a brother
You’re a great teacher, Jack. Very patient and attentive. Beautiful chowder too. Looks delicious.
R.I.P. enjoyed your cooking tips. thank you
Yeah for Nova Scotia. Great cooking!
Wonderful! Thank you!!
Brilliant!
He was such a good and generous man. God Bless Jack!!!! RIP buddy!!!!
We love you Daddy Jack!🌺🌼🍀🪴⚘🌷🌻
This was a random video that showed up in my feed while watching car restoration videos. Put it in my que and really glad I did. Love watching talented no BS cooking videos. Thank you. Enjoyed.
At this time of year, nothing beats a good ole' soup or chowder!! Spectacular as per usual Jack!!
Brother... May God bless your sole. From down here in Texas we miss you.....
I've watched this at least three times, sure wish I could have met this awesome guy!
You can tell a lot about a man by the way he treats children. You're a good man!
a completely refreshing wholesome video brother! Savannah is soooooo darn adorable ! please have her in some more vids.
Well done!

Done! Turned out great! That fennel rocks in this dish. Also I fried up the bacon and used the grease with a touch of olive oil and butter. At the end I crunched the bacon into it. Thanks again Jack!
Thanks Jack. We all miss you. A true king of cooking, family, community, and so much more. Thanks Jack. We say your name and you live on.
You're a great teacher Jack. Thanks for the lessons...
Hey Chef Jack. I left the industry about 10 years ago because I got tired of all the yelling and unessessare screaming by arragont chefs. I absolutely love watching your video's and am making my way through the selections now. My fiance and I have plans to go to America and we'll definately be stopping in to eat hear and meet you. It's really great what you're doing and the way you present the vid's is truely unique. I'm literally watching a true passionate chef by heart and It's an inspitation to watch! keep it up and God bless you late mothers Chicken a la King! Love tthe old box of reciepes on what looks like study cards! :)
Wow! What a great family kitchen and food experience. Making Memories for life.
Chef Jack is the real deal. Looking forward to watching your channel grow!
you are a great teacher and I really enjoy the restaurant style cooking because I am more of a semi-professional chef myself. I love how you show using everything with no waste. I would love to see more of your recipes (especially using scraps and end pieces) and will be subscribing. They don't teach this in most cooking videos. Thanks again!

Hi Lisa, I'm all about using up what's on hand. I enjoy making something out of nothing, that's when I'm most creative. I am good stretching out a natural Ramen Noodle to a nice pot of soup! I'll plan on doing a few of those cost cutters in the near. Good Gravy, Jack Become A Member Of “Cooking With The Blues” patreon.com/cookingwiththeblues
