Takes me back. I had so many minis in the 80s and had many classics since. Nothing in the world beats a mini for sheer driving pleasure, you've convinced me to put one in my garage again. Thanks for the vid

I just purchased a 1973 Morris Mini 1000 and can't wait to work on it. It has been sitting for a couple of years, but I am ready to get into it! This is my first Mini, my first manual transmission, my first right-hand drive car. Watching these videos make me that much more excited for the experience!

Theses minis are amazing it's the car I want and want to keep for life lovely car mate 👍

Dont do it. Keep the a-eries in ! Anyone can chuck another engine in for more power. Mine makes just under 140hp still on a 5 port.. (spend to much time with minis) Nice vid, pulls well but get the revs up on cam. Flooring it way off cam.. Brilliant thankyou.

It’s the stock engine, either the 998cc or 1275cc, they sounded great, the wine is the transmission

Think it was a round 90ish at the flywheel. Currently in the process of putting a Honda B18 in it though 😁

These cars are noisy, uncomfortable, unsafe..They are good as a toy if you pay few hundred bucks but not with current prices! in 80's you could buy them off the junkyards for peanuts and fix them for your use
