@@Stevestonmotorco Hey Stevestonmotorco I am wanting to buy a mini. I am 6.6ft tall do you think I would be able to fit in one? If no is there any seat adjustments/upgrades I can do to make my self fit??

@@bigaidy1481 considering you haven't gotten a response, I will help. I'm 2 meters tall and my brothers is just a little bit less tall. We just bought a '86 mini and the only problem being our size is you leg hitting the wheel (you don't want to make the wheel any smaller, makes it impossible to park) So we have chosen to fit the chair as far backwards as possible, while not hitting the rear-bin. Also make sure you have bucketseats, so you sit a little bit lower.

@@bigaidy1481 Hi BigAidy1, in addition to iaintdonknow's suggestion which is correct there are also steering wheel boss extension kits which bring the steering wheel closer to you and give a little more room between the wheel and your knees. The combination of these 2 ideas should make it possible for your to drive a classic Mini comfortably although be aware its doubtful anyone will be able to sit behind you for more than short journeys.

Wow this took me back in time. At 6' 4" I needed these in my 1967 mini when I was a teenager, combined with the bracket to lower the angle of the steering wheel I wouldn't say it was roomy but it was a hell of a lot more comfortable

The later minis have thicker seats, which limits the rearward travel a bit, even with these brackets. I've fitted them on '97 Cooper - it gives a bit more travel, but not as much as for the older cars with the thin seats.
