Classic Mary Berry: How To Make Eggs Benedict (Episode 1) | Cooking Show
Ойын-сауық
Soothing and much-loved home comfort delights, from the very simple to the extremely decadent. Mary indulges her love of comfort food with homely recipes to warm the heart, including Eggs benedict florentine, fall-off-the-bone slow-cooked lamb shanks and deliciously rich chocolate truffle pots. She invites Swedish fire-chef Niklas Esktedt to share the joys of caveman cooking with her, and finds herself outside by an open fire enjoying his inventive venison meatballs with blackened celeriac and mouthwatering Swedish donuts.
Classic Mary Berry is a new 6 part series that celebrates what makes Mary Berry such a brilliant cook, teacher and inspiration. Each food-filled episode focuses on a different style of dish, some well-known and others brand new to our kitchens. But all of them are made with Mary's very own style of cooking - simple accessible skills and techniques, few ingredients and her distinctive cheeky shortcuts that are so easy to follow. Its this loving and fuss free approach to home cooking that has given Mary Berry such an exceptional career and keeps her firmly placed as one of the countries favorites.
No one can make it as easy and delicious as this its cooking that is just very Classic Mary Berry.

When Mary took a whiff of the vinegar and Niklas started laughing, they won my heart. So cute together. Mary is so precious. I just adore her.
Isn't Mary the loveliest lady? I could watch her cook all day long and of course who wouldn't eat anything she placed in front of us😊. I definitely would!! She seems to be the kind of instructor if you made a mistake in her kitchen, she'd probably laugh it off and tell you that nobody's perfect and try again. Very forgiving. I do however wishI found her much earlier. I saw her on a British Cook off on PBS. Today I watch everything I can find here on KZread even if its a rerun.
This woman's likeability is through the roof
Am I the only one who doesn't cook but can't get enough of Mary Berry?

Hello my dear friend ❣️
I just discovered Mary’s brilliance today. She has so many tips I haven’t heard from other chefs, like mixing wine into flour. Not to mention how funny and witty she is!
I wish I had a Swedish chef living in the back yard like that.

I love the old fashion way of cooking , I miss my grandmothers cooking.
I just checked and was surprised to learn that Mary Berry was appointed Commander of the British Empire (CBE) in 2012 and Dame Commander of the British Empire (DBE) in 2020. (I have long thought she deserved such honors, but only now did the research to learn of this.) You never hear anyone refer to her as Dame Mary Berry, but she is entitled to be addressed as such.
Wouldn't mind having lunch with Niklas. Seems like a fun, decent sort. And he gets extra points for the Swedish Chef Muppet Show reference.
what a lovely lady and wonderful chef.

Hello my dear friend
Several years ago, but fewer than 20, I had Crab Benedict, made with Dungeness crab, at Patty's Egg Nest in Seattle. It was divine. It was a special, for Mother's day, I think, and I've never seen it since, there, or anywhere. But I dream of it. I might attempt it myself now.

I only watched it for the Swede. Mrs. Berry is such a terrible person. It's not only for the way she handled Baked Alaska-gate and later kept justifying it. She's also positively haggish whenever she acts as a judge on any contest.

Cody Murphy in my experience is always better than store bought, since this is rarely done with butter but rather with margarine or other vegetable oils. If you don't want to do the classic feuilletage, You can make a rough puff pastry in 20 minutes iwth just flour cold chunks of butter in equal quantities, a bit of cold water and a pinch of salt, and fold The resulting rough dough in he usual way. He rising is very good still and the taste of good fresh butter has no comparison with the industrial one.
