Classic Harley-Davidson motorcycle completely rebuilt in 4 minutes | Redline Rebuild - S1E8

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Last summer we rebuilt the Ironhead V-twin engine from our Frankenstein 1957 Harley-Davidson XL Sportster as part of our Redline Rebuild time-lapse video series. Now, after a bunch more photos, a few more busted knuckles, and some late nights, we present you with our completed custom ’57 Sportster time-lapse build. She spit some fire and gave Davin’s right leg quite the workout from all of the kick starts, but she’s finally good to go and eagerly awaiting the spring thaw to stretch her legs on the open road.

An Ironhead is the perfect project bike. It's such a simple and elegant design. It's easy to understand, work on and maintain. They are fairly cheap to work on even nowadays. I have a real soft spot for them. I always feel like i'm riding my Schwin Stingray and I'm 10 years old when I'm on my 84.

Watching all those kicks was like me the past few days trying to start my freshly rebuilt 1986 Honda cr500 lol. I highly underestimated how hard it would be and didnt do the decomp head mod. Also doesnt help I'm dealing with several injuries so kicking the bike was difficult. Finally got it running after nearly breaking my foot because of the sneakers I was using lol. Great build tho, love these time lapses.
