Hey Rickie! I am a ballroom dancer too, but I have huge problems with my makeup sweating off during competitions D: Do you have any tips on how to make the makeup stay on longer? Thank you!!

LocoDodo Hi there! For problems with makeup sweating off during competitions, you definitely want to make sure you are using the right foundation! Should be long wearing and waterproof! I really suggest trying Huda Beauty Faux filter foundation, Kat-Von-D Lock it foundation, or the Esteé Lauder double wear foundation! They are all super long wearing products that you can find online and in-stores! Besides foundation, you want to make sure you are setting your foundation with a strong setting powder 1-2 times throughout doing your makeup, and then finish off your look with setting spray! It sounds crazy, but the Urban Decay All-Nighter setting spray really keeps makeup in place all night!! I hope this helps dear 💕💕💕

@@amyhull1678 Hey! Problem is mostly that I sweat under my hair, so it's not actually my face but it runs over my face and takes my makeup with it. I have an extensive routine now that does keep my makeup on for the most part, but after a few rounds I do start to get cracks in my base that I cannot fix easily. What I do now is: wash face, moisturizer+serum (Nimya) Primer (UD all nighter) setting spray, dry (UD all nighter or Nimya) foundation + concealer (Juvias place) Powder (maybelline) Setting spray, dry Powder Setting spray, dry Eye makeup ,then again powder, setting spray, dry blush, bronzer, highlighter, lips setting spray, dry Setting spray, dry Sometimes I even put hairspray on my face This works for the keeping it on part, but as I said, the base now tends to "break" in the creases on my face (around the mouth, eyes)

@@LocoDodoXD are you using UB All-Nighter for every application of setting spray? With the cracking you’re describing, it could be from the application of too much alcohol used in one or a combination of the products. The All-Nighter spray is something I splurg on and swear by, but it is alcohol-based, which is drying. It may explain the cracking post-sweat. You could try using All-nighter sparingly (maybe the final setting application) and swap out some/the rest of the setting applications for an alcohol-free setting spray, like MAC Fix+.
