I sent you an email for Greg's contact info as you suggested to anyone interested in a car in this video and I have not heard back from you.

My younger days in the 70's, I loved walking junk yards and seeing what was there. A gold mine of cars to pick from. If we could only go back in time.

Must be fun to do these explorations like going on treasure hunts. Really good videos, short, sweet, to the point, no fillers, no insipid music, no wasting the viewers time. Nicely crafted.

My in-law's live about 2 miles past this place. It was a used car dealership in my youth. He had some different cars out front for a while that gave me the idea to buy one and make a vintage NASCAR replica. It was a 1960's car. I never did stop and it was more a pipe dream than anything. When I was younger you could walk through just about any junkyard and look at the cars. I guess we were easy to entertain. Somewhere in the 1980's they started to limit who could be in the yards. Maybe for insurance purposes I guess.

My uncle Gus ran a junkyard l spent many hours learning about cars there, i love junkyards and antique shops thrift shops because all the stuff has stories!

A MACH 1 Mustang 4 SPEED was VERY SPECIAL... I hate car guys, that aren't really car guys.

When you get the VIN, you win: 1 for 1971 model year, F for Dearborn, MI assembly, 05 for Mustang Mach 1 Sports roof, M for 351 V8, and the rest is the production sequence. The Dearborn plant was the main Mustang plant through the 2004 model year when production was transferred to Flat Rock, MI. Metuchen Assembly in NJ (also called Edison, which closed in 2004) and San Jose (also called Milpitas Assembly which closed in 1983) also assembled these cars depending on the year. When you get the tag, you can brag and go all the way, don't you say? 63R for Mach 1 Sports Roof, I for Bright Lime Green exterior paint, 5R for Medium Green Mach sports interior trim, R for 3.25:1 rear end ratio, locking, 5 for four speed wide ratio manual transmission, and 38 for Pittsburgh, PA sales district. From 1972 onward, you can tell the engine size in a GM passenger car because they had a character for the engine in there, but yes, prior to that time, the specific engine could not be determined by the VIN per se.

Always kind of liked those '65 Fairlanes, but prefer the earlier ones. I think '68-'69 is my favorite Fairlane, particularly the fastback. Can't believe I wasn't already subbed - I've watched several videos here...

10-15% of Mach 1 Mustangs were 4 speeds... Yea, they were RARE...

i would love to see a video of a junkyard walkthrough of old classic cars wearing a personal radiation dosimeter and carrying a geigercounter...cars sitting in the sun for long periods of time become radioactive due to ionizing radioisotopes from the sun hitting them and the molecular structure of the metal deteriorates...cars parked out west are probably the worst,people walking through the junkyards are being exposed to high levels of radiation...all the old cars are mostly radioactive...junkyard walkers should carry geigercounters

Bad economy folks aren’t buying anymore you have to have something rare . That guys got to many projects and you have to have good help .

Quit jiveing around , get these cars apart and restore them before they go back into the earth. It just kills me to see them rust into dust. Of course you will not sell them at any fair price to potential restorers. They are your treasures ! I want that Ford Fairlane !!

I have watched many cars go from sitting in someone's yard to just piles of rust sitting in someone's yard. Some were angry if you stopped and asked them if it was for sale. They were always going to fix it up.
