Awww we just called our baby boy Robin George! He was born on the 9th of July. George is my dad’s name. We chose Robin because my Granny passed away just before I found out I was pregnant & I love the saying, “Robin’s appear when loved ones are near”. I also loved Winnie the Pooh as a child - Christopher Robin and this lovely quote by him - “If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you” I love that even though my granny never got to meet Robin, she had an influence on his name :)

Great list! My SO is named Julian. Haven't met too many other guys with the same name. Just wanted to add in case someone likes the name Dominic but it comes off too strong, there is also Dominico which is a variation of the name. I think adding that O ending makes it a bit softer. Also gives you the option to make Nico a nickname if you're not fond of Dom.

Owen and Jasper are definitely my favourites on this list and in general! Adrian, Rhys and Julian deserve more love.

I know a lot of Italian-American Dominics! In my experience it is a fairly common name among older millennials from New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. Feels very specific to me: they are usually very friendly and family-oriented guys, perhaps a touch anxious.

My grandsons are Adrian and Victor. Adrian’s mother is Peruvian and they call him Adri sounds like “ahh” and dree rhymes with tree. He’s a teenager now and been a saint his entire life. Victor is a toddler and we call him Vic and he’s a little ruffian with a sense of humor and drama.

Not sure how feasible this would be and certainly don’t mean for every video, just thought when you were saying the ranking on the UK list… Is it possible one week to do a breakdown of the most popular names in the UK then where they rank in each nation? I’m from Scotland and sometimes when you say something is fairly high in the UK it surprises me because there are hardly any here, so I often wonder where that name would place in Scottish, Irish & Welsh charts! I’m American and I wouldn’t call chase or Lincoln classic. Those became popular in modern times. I do think Harrison and Clayton fit the category.

i have an everly, willow and harper (willow and harper are twins) and i’m pregnant again with a little boy! i had so many other names in my head that i was afraid that people would judge, so this time i’m thinking of going with a name that i truly love! so moral of the story is go with the name that you love, don’t worry about others opinions because you will regret it later!!!

Love this list! We just used Adrien for our son. I really liked names like Aiden and Ezra but wanted something that’s not too popular/trendy right now. It’s tough to find names that are flying under the radar but aren’t so crazy either.

Robin was on my list as an honor name for a grandpa Robert. Owen too. Love it! And I love that you mentioned Ladybug and Catnoir, my girls love that show😄

My son's name is Edmund. It appears to be both classic and rare 226 on the UK charts. Want an Ed but Edward seems over used. Edmund or Edmond is an option

My baby boy was born in February and I watched A LOT of your videos while I was pregnant. We named him Lochlan Finn...thought he would go by "Finn" but Lochlan seems to fit him better as of now...I picture Finn being his cool teenage name when he is 16, but we will see :)

I have a brother named Joel, a brother named Seth, a nephew Dominic, a daughter-in-law, aunt & boss named Jamie (not just that spelling) & know six Owens under the age of 20. I have 11 Timothys in my friend group between work, church & extra curricular clubs. All but 3 of the names (Barbary, Alfred,& Felix) I know someone under the age of 20 by the name. I just had my baby boy on the 13th of August & we went with the name Silas Leo 🌟💚 I didn’t know this before, but Silas is actually an old classic name. It sounds so modern to me though. Personally, I'm not a big fan of Wolf. in school when he learns his animals I think it will be weird. However, if you really really love it you should do it!

I was talking to someone in a name group the other day who has a name that her parents modified to start with I her name Ilaina she said her whole life people have said her name wrong because they read the I as another L. You could go for something with a similar meaning to Eileen (bright, shining one) so Alina or Aurora maybe, or something with a similar sound to Eileen e.g. Isla or Lena?

We just had a little boy and named him Atticus Victor Henry. Victor was his paternal grandfather and I'm really pleased we could use it because it is so handsome 💕

Ahhh I loved Jasper & Barnarby back when we were first expecting, so back in 2016/early 2017, but my husband wasn't keen. In the end we had a Rory. Still classic and suits both a young boy & adult man. Still sad that he isn't a Jasper, though!!

My boys are Nathaniel Hans Freddie (middle names are family names) and Sebastian Jude Lowen. I think Nathaniel and Sebastian are pretty classic boys’ names. We intentionally didn’t want anything too ‘out there’ and they seemed quite timeless to us. We also like the meaning (gift from God and venerable - respected for wisdom and character). We were a bit more adventurous with our daughter’s name and made it up: Ameliana Grace Rorie (middle names are family names). Naming babies definitely is one of the perks of parenting 🥰

Something happened to the last part of my comments! Miles feels a lot like James to me smooth and elegant. I am not overly keen on Victor but I do like a similar name, Hector. I find Rhys to be a charming name. I agree with SJ, I am surprised Timothy isn't more common, there were many Timothy's when I was a kid in the 80's.

I had a friend growing up called "Elahni" i thought this was a super cute rare girl name!!

My fiancé’s little brothers name is Vincent! I love it and I always want to call him Vinny or Vincenzo and he hates it! 😂 (They are Italian)

I love the name Jasper. It was a top contender for my baby boy that was born in July. We ended up going with the name Julien. But still might use the name for the next one.

In our family Miles is a family name and several generations have a Miles. Another branch of our family has Nathaniel as a family name which is a more traditional version of Nathan. We also have a Timothy in our family. Alfred reminds me of Alfred the Great as well as several other Alfred.

Seth is such a great name, it is biblical too, one of Adam and Eve's sons!

Timothy (my dads name) is our middle name choice for a boy. Arden Timothy ❤️ currently in my two week wait so we’ll see soon if we can take our name choices seriously or not 🤞🏼

My favourite names of this list are Vincent (possible nn Enzo from Italian Vincenzo) and Victor. Very strong and masculine name (give me the same vibe as Hector). I would also add name Adam as a classic charming name and Matthias which also sounds very masculine.

I think Barnaby works really well for a grown man! 😂 He could use Barney as a nickname and I know a few men with that name. At the end of the day I think that people associate names with people they know so if he was named Barnaby, people would just associate the name with whatever age he was. I don’t know if that makes sense hahaha (also I literally watch every one of SJs vids and I’m not pregnant either 😅

In America, many of these names are much higher. Owen, for instance, is very popular here. I have a friend with an Owen and Nathan! Joel is also fairly high here (my brother is also Joel!). My son is named Reeves but often gets mistaken for Rhys/Reece.

I wonder if the reason Nathan, Dominic, Jamie, Owen and Rhys/ Reece aren't that common now (in the UK at least) is because they were all in the top 100 20, 30 or 40 years ago, therefore dad names more than son names. I'm in my mid/late twenties and growing up I knew about half a dozen Jamies' (all boys), a handful of Nathans', ditto for Rhys/ Reece (again all boys) and an Owen (also possibly a Dominic but I'm not 100% sure)

This is my kind of list SJ - all [ mostly ] names I really like. I can't get onboard with Jamie. This is cute for a baby but not so cute on an older male. I much prefer James.

I like Dominic and Seth, I agree with Timothy being underused but I wonder if Timothee Chalamet will help with its resurgence. As a Julianna I always find it funny but I’ve never loved the name Julian, maybe because it sounds incomplete but you made me appreciate it more with Jude.
