Hoping someone can help me... Just got this pedal today and so far it is overdriving my amp.. Was hoping to get a good mid boost out of it but like I said it's just overdriving it.

Hi Ampeg. Are you guys thinking of building a pedal with your famous 5 position mid switch? I think If you made a pedal with that and the ultra hi and ultra low, or the rocker swiches off the SVt-VR it would be killer. Thanks, love my SVT -AV!

Just bought one I'm not one for fuzz and all that I love the clean sound and love this because it hasn't got compassion or anything else I like keep things separate one breaks it's easily replaced

If you need a DI output, then check out the SCR-DI pedal. www.ampeg.com/products/pedals/scr_di/

I have one and it is too noise

decent eq pedal for money...didnt need a DI on it anyway

I really don't think of it so much as a way to get "the Ampeg sound" on the go. For that, I'd buy a small Ampeg amplifier. It just seems like a killer preamp to me. Edit: I should probably proof read these comments before hitting send, especially on the phone.
