I liked June Whitfield's narration as Miss Marple and the other actors were also very good. Joan Hickson is the ultimate Miss Marple, but I'm sure June playing her would've been interesting. Thank you.

Margaret Rutherford played her too broadly. Geraldine McEwan was always bringing in an element of LGBT** sensibilities. Joan Hickson was perfection …

N my opinion there will only be and will ever be 1 miss Marple and that is Joan hickson ie apart from Rutherford and maybe mcewean and lansbury all others are also rans

In my opinion Joan hickson is and will always be the only miss Marple all others apart from Rutherford and maybe lansbury are also rans ie it's like comparing Nora batty with farrah fawcett

Miss Jane Marple was an ardent Christian. The books have been altered very much, when dramatised, to suit the agenda required by whomever. I would recommend listening to the audiobooks narrated by good British character actors, such as James Saxon. So many good free ones available. Having said that, the first comment is either misguided or a troll. I see the same comment on many channels of different topics.

I see, Genshin Impact found his way into Detektiv audio books.

Can't stand Joan Hickson's clipped accent - maybe because she sounds like an old geography mistress from school. I find June Whitfield much more human.

Absolutely hate people thrusting their religious beliefs on others,what has this got to do with miss Marple👎
