Sir Harsh, since you have ridden in various terrains and taken long travels as well I guess can you please give us a review on whether the hunter's ground clearance can take all the terrains. I really want to buy hunter but I'm a bit skeptical about the 150mm ground clearance and stuck with either hunter 350 or tvs ronin. But I don't like the looks of Ronin, I like hunter's looks. It is just that Ronin has more features, like good suspension and ground clearance (as far as I have watched reviews on it😅). Please give your suggestions.

Bhai.. Please don't sir me.. It's just harsh..😅😂 Well.. Yes.. I've been riding my hunter for a year now.. And not even once I scraped the underbelly of the bike. 1500mm is no issue of you stick to riding on the road or perhaps a little rough tarmac. Yes Ronin has more features and perhaps you'd have to do a little mods to the stock hunter to make it suit yourself but if you're looking for pure joy of ride then hunter is your bike. Hunter looks complete, proportionate and sounds way better as compared to make shift design of Ronin and RE wanna BE exhaust sound of Ronin. You can go ahead and buy it for yourself.

The only thing that you can't do much with hunter is the less sitting space for the pillion rider. However it's still okayish for an average sized fellow pillion. And you might have to do some mods (install back rest) to enhance the comfort.

Reborn suspension doesn't comes with nitro bro. And yes I have installed nitrox suspension from old gen classic 350. But you can also install reborn suspension if they are available at your dealership. They are direct fit and you don't have to cut your chain guard.

Besides hunter suspension, it’s stock seat is another concern for me bro. I’m not feeling comfortable after riding it for around 80kms, my bum starts paining and it goes numb. Could you please suggest me any alternative for this seat. Also RE is providing 2 seat options (Signature bench and Touring/Custom seat). Is it worth purchasing any one of these?

Try removing the seat cover. If it doesn't help.. You can add another layer of foam or buy an air seat.

@@harshaswell ok, so the issue is with current seat cover? Well then I’m planning to remove it , add some rubber foam and put another seat cover on top of it which is being offered by Sahara Seats. I heard that they manufacture decent seat covers for all bikes. What do you say?

Well.. Yes sahara seats do have some seats with decent comfort. But I'm afraid that they might compromise the #asthetics of the motorcycle. Removing the seat cover has helped many riders. And if it doesn't hepls.. You can add foam to the existing seat.

Great video, and handsome bike. thanks for sharing both the videos showing us this much sought after modification of the Hunter! Did you consider pulsar nitrox shocker which has the canister on top! Its made by the same company Endurance! Would'nt have to cut through the chain guard ( made me wince ). Also is it really that much of a difference? couldnt really appreciate the travel when you rode it down while your friend captured it at 04:31 ! Seemed like 20-25% maybe, (I know even that is better only)

Yes both of them are made by same brand but certainly their state of tune has to be different as they are serving two very different bikes. In terms of weight, dimensions and perhaps purpose also classic and pulsar are a far cry from each other. I chose 350's suspension as hunter weighs more then pulsar and with luggage and all mods in the rear it will weight even more, more or less close to that of the classic.

And yes.. I did felt the difference. Like I've mentioned in the video I still have to explore it more. I didn't use it in the softest settings. Perhaps that's the reason it wasn't clearly visible in the video.

You can use reborn suspension and still be in good terms with chain guard but then nitrox won't be there.. 😂 So yeah.. It was a ek hath de ek hath le situation for me..

Hello Harsh few days back I bought a Hunter 350 and facing some issue in rear suspension its very hard for comfort ride. Dealer says it will be soften after few months use. Is it true or I should replace it like you. Please advice. Thanks

No bro.. Suspension won't work like that. However if it does softens up.. It means it has broken down. Ride it like that for 1000kms.. Do a long ride. If you think you can't live with it, You can go ahead and change it.

Brother hows ur experience now with these suspension. Does it affect the stability of bike ? And any ground clearance issue?

For anyone doing this, use washers before tighting the bolts -2 on top -1 on bottom otherwise it will cause the mounting points to bend also heard that you can use Apache and Discover suspension bush to prevent drilling out the suspension bush Bike's back end becomes a bit wobbly if you go over 100 after this mod, just don't go taking too many corners at high speed

Thanks for the insight bhai. But I would recommend installing only RE suspension rather than going in for any other brand. You can opt for classic reborn suspension for a cleaner installation. So far the bike has been doing fine. But I'll watch out for your point.

Did u remove sareeguard because of this suspension?

No... I removed it when I was installing saddle stays. Also, I didn't like the look of it on the bike.

No bro. Suspension is hard but it doesn't causes any disbalance. Due to hard suspension it has superb handling. And weight of hunter is as such it grips the road well and you ride confidently.

However it will jolt your back if you encounter sudden hard bump and that can rock you from your seat.

Performance wise.. There is no difference in the two. I would recommend you to install reborn suspension. It will be a direct fit. No need to do cutting drilling or boaring any part of your bike.

Well yes.. Nitrox suspension is better than the normal one.. Specially in long rides. If you don't mind the cutting and drilling stuff.. You can definitely go for nitrox suspension.

I'm from Bageshwar bro. Try removing the seat cover and ride before switching to the optional seat. I've seen some riders have removed the seat cover and it behaved rather nicely. NITROX suspension has no effect on the handling of the bike. It handles the same it used to handle before. Ofcourse ride quality has improved. Now I don't have to worry about the small potholes and undulations. I can simply glide over them. And yes.. Doing any sort of mods to the motorcycle is certainly going to affect the warrenty. You have to ask yourself if the mod is worth risking the warrenty. For me.. Handlebar riser, suspension were worth taking the risk. However I don't wanna do any mods on the engine front. For more information on this, your dealership guy is the preferred person. Cheers bro

Bro will this suspension modification make any changes in seat height . Because iam 158 cm height so any further increase in seat height will affect me badly. Showroom condition seat height is ok for me . Please reply @harshaswell

Still,I do have a doubt, is there any GC issue while travelling with pillion..? Also is it okay to install reborn suspension because there's no nitous-shocks ..?

I got your point buddy.. As a content creator I'm still experimenting with my content. So yeah. I can understand there could be some language barrier. And I'll try to fix that in my future videos. However I would recommend you to go for classic reborn suspension if you can get it easily. That's an easy fit. And no.. There has been no issues with GC even With pillion.

Don't worry bro. You can go for either of them. Both will give you world of comfort. I'm using nitrox because reborn was not available at my location. If you can get reborn suspension, go for it. It is an easier and direct fit as compared to nitrox suspension. No need to bore and cut the chain guard and all.

Yes you can.. But.. You have to keep in mind that hunter and pulsar are two very different motorcycles. Weight of the bike, dynamics and use. With these in mind you should think which suspension is better. I would suggest you to choose a royal Enfield suspension over any other brand. Go for reborn suspension if it is available at nearest dealership.

Pulsur ya Apache ka bhi suspension use kiya gaya hai par woh bhi same company ka hai par thoda cheap hai

To ho skta h k suspension alg state m tune kiya gya hoga Jisse alg requirements ko fulfil kiya ja sake.. Iske alwa apache and pulsar ka weight classic and hunter k comparison m kam hai. Isilye maine Royal Enfield ka hi suspension choose kiya.
