Good to know this is what the history books now say in 10th grade, we were taught only the glory of Gandhi and Nehru and Congress. It's an eye opener, the British first did divide and rule for hindu muslims to weaken our nation, later they beat turkey, so khilafat was born in India, gandhi seized this opportunity, and started again a new movement which was doomed to fail yet again, the muslims and Hindus joined hands against the British, when the British stopped fighting against H&Ms in Malabar, the muslims turned on Hindus and we saw Mappila Massacre.
