As a deadeye main 😌 I still love this man

Zerkers now are decent risk for medium rewards. Berzerker popularity initially is due to a couple points. 1. Greatsword aesthetic appeal 2. Early Lost Ark mayhem was an easy way to get free moment speed. Most encounters were easy to get in your slow combo windows. 3. Best class for farming bots. 4. Cheap pots during a time where we were all gathering free chests still. Berserkers now are realizing 1. the combo window playstyle is VERY easily punished with harder encounters and dynamic mechanics. You have a tight window with 2 of your debuffs to cram in at least 3 skills - SLOW skills. 2. A huge reason are the nerfs took 40% damage off two of their main abilities where now you need a level 5 tripod to undo just that nerf. 2. A some people are slowing drifting to 12-18 piece Salvation cards, using grudge and removing we'll meet/forest, alongside potion nerf they are finding Mayhem especially is actually one of the squishiest classes. KR they don't like zerkers for many encounters. So you have a squishy class that suffers from animation locks which can get caught out 1shot easily along side damage nerfs - all while the other spec option BT has even a more punishing playstyle. BASICALLY THE HONEYMOON PHASE IS OVER FOR ZERKERS. There are way more classes with consistent, smoother damage that are also more tanky and just as/if not more mobile. However the GOOD NEWS is the chances of them being nerfs are nealry zero, and being buffed in the future is higher. However the risky playstyle is something that will probably never go away.

Once an RS Soulfist,always an RS Soulfist.

Made a deadeye on accident trying to make a GS on release. Now I have a sick 1400 ratketeer pistoleer deadeye

I main Destroyer and man it is fun, you have to be a big number person, but if you are oh boy, when you hit your first 10m there is no turning back lol, it has a pretty good damage the issue is the animation locks, Vykas is where the men get separated from the boys because if you don't play it right you will be knock down or she will tp every single one of your perfect swings

Me: Picks the class for my character like -> This must be one of the best/most popular. Also me: Deadeye. Ohh well

Swapped my main from mayhem zerk to RS soulfist and still haven't hit that 1600 spec breakpoint. Sitting at 1391 and just hoping to God she feels better at 1415 🙃

23:10 You missed the most important reason as to why they deadeyes are unpopular. Majority of players aren’t capable of playing enhanced weapon effectively. It is the most demanding class mechanically and will stay that way.

thats your problem. You play too much and got burnt out...Nothing wrong with the game it gets better as more raids and stuff gets released. LOL use rest bonus cause this game is amazing.

funny hearing you talking about people using their boost on Arcanist and dumb me was kind of waiting a bit and now my boost is locked out. Hoping they extend the expiration past Machinist so I can use the boost on that now as I've started leveling Arcanist regular way.

I have a DH on my roster, but she's my rapport alt. I just don't like the fact I can't move the skills in demon form for counter. Anyone know if Machinist skills are locked in form?

my boyfriend has 6 bards, a paladin, and a few other chars. His first was a shadowhunter who he loves but he fell in love as soon as he played bard thus why he made 5 more after the first. It's kinda cute. Hes making an artist as soon as they are released. I know ill have a good support whenever we group and it spoils me. I have been indecisive since the start but arcanist really gave me the high mobility assassin playstyle I've been looking for and didn't get from shadowhunter or deathblade so I'm working on transitioning to it from sorc but the ppass being disabled is holding me back.

I main a Mayhem Zerker and we supposed to have dmg mitigation, but I feel hella squishy and with so small lifepool I want to try Teqhniqe. To bad I didnt get the enravings while they where cheap. Just started a Gunslinger ilv 460 and damn its hella fun to play:)

I feel the pain. I started as a perkier main but switched to Arty soon after I tried it. It felt like night and day difference in terms of survivability. I now have played glaivier, death blade, shadow hunter as well all at 1370+ and at least 4x3 and I can definitely say I feel like it's harder to survive on my perkier than the others I play. Blade and shadow hunter are very fast and reactive so its easy to weave out of mechanics despite having less DR so you get hit less, glaivier has excellent mobility and parry so I find it easier on her to survive, and my Arty is just naturally super tanky all the time with the 20% DR and the shields.

@@AllrightNOR No, only thing that made him tanky is that crutch defensive card set. We've come to the period where other card sets are much better since we need that damage increase. Mayhem without defensive card sets is as squishy as a Bard without Heavy Armor, even meme floor pov classes like Reaper and Gunslinger have more survivability lol.

Yeah Mayhem zerker went to squish mode (that's with defensive bonus cards) especially with grudge and 40% less damage on two of their hardest hitting abilities. You need level 5 tripods to just try undo the nerf. It's a joke. No wonder they ignore mayhem zerkers in KR for hard hitting content. Mayhem with salvation set + grudge is one of the most squishiest one-shottable classes now.

Its interesing. That being said, i have 5 1415 characters. So i dont think this is a fair representation of mains. Its a better representation of possibility of mains, but i think its more of representation of the honing buffs and the new parking spot for alts. I also gear my 1415 alts with relic gear.

Glaivier is the best class. My favorite. But once you hit 1370+ everything becomes hella expensive. Paladin my second and favorite alt Then gunslinger. But I only have 4 characters.

Is this for korea or NA, because NA is not really consolidated yet, and new classes will naturally have less players

soulfist deadeye striker are all super strong classes in KR

I think Gunlancer's just a popular main. The strange back jump makes a lot of people really hate it as an alt

@@gosuckajd That may be true for Redlancer but Bluelancer just needs decent Spec and level 1 combat readiness to be functional. One of the best Argos classes

The Gunslinger can animation cancel by simply switching weapons. She can deal the big damge with either sniper or shotgun and cancel it by going into pistols and use the 4 dash skills to reposition. Its heavy on the hands. I'm sad that Galiver doesnt have this option and Deadeye your screwed as pistolier , and the damage fall-off might be to great in the other build( dont own class so cant say for certain ).

Bad player spotted. The only gs animations you can cancel are sharpshooter and target down the rest you need to finish the attack or use your spacebar to cancel. And then you need to wait for cooldowns.

I main sorceress but i also use Scrapper and Paladin.

Sorc is so popular but she just doesn't seem that fun to me. Maybe if I get her to relic and do the instacast build then I will like her but that's a long way away. Also I LOVE Gunslinger as an alt. She is difficult but also very fun to play, but I find her so much fun only because I take breaks from playing her. If I were to play her every day I can see her getting boring.

Surely if you can get this much data there must be a way to show the gap between free to play and pay to win. For example I am at 1400 and to go from 1400 to 1415 takes roughly 42 days per item. So it would be interesting to know how many people have paid to think they are good and also how much they paid for that small amount of self esteem.

one main problem with this is certain classes need more specific runes and need to buy pieces that have very specific stats. Like paladin/bard and some of the fighter classes, you dont need 4x3 and need to buy as many accessories to get to end game content

Maybe on his server this is right but shadowhunter is extremely popular on my server like sorceress 1 and SH 2 in dps popularity. I rarely see a Deathblade these days. Gunslingers aren’t popular either anymore. They both dropped a ton since release. Also Glaivier is not as common as destroyer. No one plays arcana and way more people play scrapper. I don’t think this is accurate at all

Deadeye is sadge if you actually have one at 1430... Imagine having to be super good at the game and only to do ok damage when playing right

glavier jsut fall off late game in terms of endgame for dmg but they are very good in those scale of balance challenge stuff cuz of thier 100% uptime on crit%

My main is striker. I know why the class is low. From the start he is trash all the way. Now he is a bit more viable with entropy set and deathblow build. I love simple class. LoL 😆 support alt all the way for me. They will regret not sticking to striker.

@@EZboyrocks yup, you definitely need entropy set for sure. The damage difference is huge. You can crit from 20 to 30 mill with deathblow 5 x 3 engraving. Feels fun 😉 but it cost a lot of gold...... and yes it's hard to gear up. But gonna be worth it. I'm 1475 and I'm esoteric I crit for 16 mill. In the middle of transitioning to deathblow.

I do not think using market place activity is a good way of measuring class popularity. Since the standard bot characters are berserkers, and sorceresses, I think the best method would be to just look at what the at character creation percentages of popularity the game provides are, recalculating the given percentages to remove berserkers, and sorceresses, then note that while your numbers do not include berserkers, and sorceresses, we can still safely say they would sit in the top ten, or even top five most played classes, by actual people, you just can't say what the exact percentages are.

Im a none barrage-mode main Artiller. As it looks now at ptr the firepower, none wheel-chair builds are being way punished...the "nerf" to crit is way way over the top compared to the meter lvl 3 25 % damage to normal skills. Love my artiller...but really dislike the hole wheel-chair gameplay. Its almost like they are trying to "force" us...to wheel-chair.

The only good thing about Zerks IMO is the weapon glow at 20+. I main Destro but there is a learning curve that is honestly getting to me ... Swiftness based classes have it so easy and even Surge DB's. You can mald if you want but Destro is so much harder to play for mediocrity than being a class that has so many movement skills. Same for any of the swiftness stacking dps classes. Sure, I get big numbers but guess what ... So does all the swiftness classes. FFS surge at the same ilvl as me with half the quality of gear and a 333 doubles my PS swing when I have entropy 6pc, all level 7 gems, level 5 tripods. It's nuts.... and I am 5x3. Must be nice to complain about a boss that moves a lot as if a slow destro doesn't know that ... except you can stick to a boss. I have no movement skills at all. lmao.

@@greelune5780 Sure, I could run that but the double counter is far superior. Same for 50/50 crit/spec instead of 50/25/25 crit/spec/swift. Edit: Destro has to sacrifice damage to gain mobility. Where other meta builds have an insane amount of mobility while pumping larger numbers. The ONLY thing that Destro has over others is the ability to ignore most mechanics with super armor shield generators or endure pain. Even Z skill has its uses.

Drybear, every video people have been commenting that the reason Glavier is decreasing in popularity because the damage numbers fall off late game and no one wants to play a character like that. Why can't you just say that in your analysis? Every video you mention why you don't understand how this archtype, with polearm, is not as popular when it is usually is. It is pretty obvious why Glavier is lower on the usage based on numerous comments in your video.

Maining pinnacle Glaiver at 1480 rn and the DMG is REALLY disappointing. I do 5x the work for the same DMG as a sorc or Zerk. Hopefully the buffs help but I doubt it
