Not needed. You only need to do the parking brakes and service brakes. Trailer brakes are optional

So is this the same as a regular class a cdl? Or whats the point of getting a hotshot class a?

Yes it’s still a Class A Cdl. Hotshot is just a setup of your vehicle and trailer basically.

@@youngdeath4741 but what’s the point? They offer a Hotshot Cdl and a Regular Cdl, Hotshot being cheaper. Can you still drive a semi with it?
