More work gone on than I had appreciated from updates on Facebook. Much of it hidden/not obvious but still critical. Thanks for the informative film. More power to your elbows!

We had this locomotive at the NYMR a few years ago. But it wasn’t looked after by the railway. The NYMR are pro steam and don’t spend as much money on diesels ,and their diesels tend to be neglected. It’s good to see 26038 getting the attention it deserves,and looking stunning again

Fantastic work. I'm glad a loco is getting the rock fall lights fitted again!

Cant wait to see this fully restored and running!
@SteamboatWilley
Excellent bit of welding there. I know from experience, welding sheet steel with a massive gap like that is not easy.
@northernblue1093
Excellent video with very informative captions.

Love BRCW locos, definitive of those early Scottish diesel days, and a couple of years working off KX too. Remember well, though wasn't too pleased to see the 4-6-0 steamers replaced, at that time. Cambridge Buffet Express, nice with D5300s but also good with B17s!
