The former Peterborough Grimsby main line, stupidly closed in 1970. Firsby was the ‘Crewe’ of the East Lincs.

Filmed a few years ago? jointed track, and passing a DMU in Central Train colours, The platform used at Skegness is now out of use, and trains now use the platform with the canopy on it to the left of the arriving train.

Batemans XXXB probably the best beer in the world.

Got to be one of the longest stretches of str8 railway track in the country, unless someone nose different

I thought so too but Selby to Melton is 34.5 km as apposed Boston to Firsby curve 22,5km…..but still a good stretch.
