I feel like a great way to improve this update is by making crowns a currency that you can spend on tve pass royale and the season shop. That way 2v2 could still give you crowns and you can buy more gold if needed. It makes it a choice instead of making it so that you need to play competitive for crowns only and 2v2 for season shop only.

I honestly don’t get how Brawl Stars is able to do so well right now but Clash Royale is going the opposite. I know they are completely different games and teams but it feels like they’re from completely different companies. Like Brawl Stars is making updates to help ftp players with credits and mastery but Clash Royale the past few updates seem like they have a complete opposite design philosophy. It just seems like the different Super Cell dev teams don’t have the same kind of morals? Not like some game’s devs are greedier then others, just that they have very different ideas in how to make a ftp mobile game despite all being under the same company. Its like is the company more focused on money or the game because each Super Cell game says something different

One thing I liked about the supercell ads was the effort put into them. It wasn't just some false advertising for their game, the ads had stories to them, and had some really good animations. But I have seen some of the ads for their games in recent times, and they look like dog water. I know they can't just create those cool ads all the times since they most definitely take some time to make, but I didn't think they would use false advertising (referring to the pekka just leveling up mid game)

I deleted it after the April Update😢. I could not keep playing it after that. It was one thing with the update earlier this year; it turned me off after the draft battles on league. I played league to have a good guage on my decks' capabilities. Not to mention no change on the 2v2 issues. Beyond that it felt like a cash cow and lost its enjoyment.

I used to be obsessed with clash last year, as I started in January. I have an almost maxed out account, and the game is barely as fun as it used to be. On the other hand, I started playing brawl stars last year in August, and the dev team for the game itself is a whole new level of awesome. The update hype is awesome. The lore is amazing. The updates come so frequently, you can never get bored of the game. There are 8 gamemodes that alternate daily (correct me if I'm wrong, it may be more) and you have so many characters to choose from, and events to play that actually are fun, and not repetitive. There is a competitive and a trophy gamemode, and casual as well! Though they may seem similar in the matchmaking modes, Brawl Stars follows through and makes the game on another level than the other supercell games. The Brawl Stars dev team almost instantly reacts if the community is unhappy about something, and gives a ton of compensation, in currency, etc. The community for Brawl Stars is way better as well, and the whole vibe itself is stunning! As Brawl Stars is becoming an increasingly popular and great game, Clash Royale is just well, falling off.

with this update they ask us nicely to uninstall it 😂

Guys don't think this is the worst update yet. You'll be amazed at how much more bad updates might be coming soon.

13:08 Okay to be fair Mortis and Primo having to reload can be explained as them getting tired and having to catch their breath. Sandy could probably be explained as him just needing to get more sand to throw. Edgar is a bit hard to explain, but if we just assume that his scarf is alive and sentient (which isn't that crazy if you look at his losing animation) then it probably is similar to Mortis and Primo. tl;dr The weird reloads this meme pokes fun at can actually have a rational explanations.

Everything that sucks in the new update: • They ruined pass royale • They ruined path of legends with mega draft • They're adding a new card level • Terrible value in shop purchases • Removed play again button from 2v2 • Can't get chests from 2v2 • Increasing token cap has only 1 day duration • Removed party games • Pass royale is overpriced • Removed book of books

Meanwhile, Brawl Stars: Let's add Starr Drops to fill the void of missing unpredictability because boxes were removed, and let's make them free for players, just because the community asked for it.

And also with party rocket with super archer challenges it isint like the old ones so there is no rewards for playing those challenges except for bloody season tokens with 1000 cap

the issue with the new season shop is that it costs too much , 30k for the emotes , 35k for archer queen , 15k for the book of epics , 1500 times 3 for the legendary wild cards , which aint alot but when you factor in everything else , its alot

I don’t think that there is a point to upgrade your cards since upgraded cards can only be used in ladder and clan wars. Nobody plays clan wars and casual players don’t play ladder.

I only started playing clash Royale again because of how much easier they made it to level up characters. I’ve pretty much been restricted to using the same deck I had made since I started playing the game until books came around and I was able to level up other characters for different decks. Now I don’t even wanna play anymore.

Supercell really thought they could break down the book of books & sell them individually TWO YEARS after they’ve been released

One of my least favorite changes is making ranked a draft mode. LITERALLY WHY. It’s so pointless. Even if I liked draft, the draft itself takes like 5 minutes before you even start the game

I spent over a year grinding ladder just for the game to get easier because why not. Then I start having fun with 2v2 and now 2v2 SUCKS.

As a casual I see the game modes as such: Path of legends is fun until you stall out Trophy road is useful for measuring progress Party mode is good for goofing off and pushing masteries Events are fun and keep the game interesting

do the math, 1 gem equals 16 gold (i tried upgrading a card for 8k when i had 7999 gold and it said buy the missing 16 gold for 1 gem) Book of books if it were for sale maybe would be like maybe 10k to 12k gems So that means a book of books is like 170k gold When a champion card overflows it becomes some amount of gold, not sure how much but def not 170k So like we're kinda losing (depending on how leveled up your champions are) like 10 champion cards/almost 200 thousand gold

The only reason I can see from Supercell going forward with these changes that raised such backlash is that they predicted that the new player base will play a far more important role in monetizing the game than the existing player base.

I always looked at Skeletons as a Goblin before hand cuz of Size comparison. And we have an emote now that shows the Goblin grow old into a Skeleton as well.

The 1000 max per day for season points is so stupid. I get that in two games, so now, after a few games, party mode is completely useless, not to mention the 3-minute queue in these modes cause nobody wants to play them

the limit shouldnt even exist rofl, the limit being there just means less player retention because people are just gonna log in, lose 4 games / win two, check the clan and then stop playing for the rest of the day

I actually think the brick idea could be something. Imagine, a card that's placed like a building/miner (you can place it anywhere in the arena, but it doesn't move), but it does nothing. All it does is take up a single tile and can't be destroyed by troops and most spells. Sure, it wouldn't do much, but it also could be really useful. Stack enough of them and you could create a wall that stops most ground troops from crossing, or place it on your opponents side and stop them from placing buildings. I vote to call it the Rock, have it be 2 elixir, and it can only be destroyed by earthquake

It's like the Brawl Stars developers actually care about their community and give updates based on feedback suggestions from the community. For example, their most recent update. They noticed that the number one feedback from players when boxes were removed was that they missed the unpredictability from them, so they added Starr Drops to fill in that hole. It's the same with Squad Busters that may become global one day because again, the devs actually listen to the community. But I think because of the apparently greedy updates for Clash Royale, Clash Royale might shut down for good soon. Seriously, I've seen a lot more backlash than just this meme.

As a new player, I kinda like getting champions from the diamond pass royale, even if I haven't got to the arena they're unlocked at. *However,* I think it breaks the game's progression a lot. You should get books or wild cards. The one champion is overpowered at low ladder, as you unlock it early, and basically useless at high ladder, as it's only one card, while you could get way more with books. So, books and/or wild card work better because they only give cards to players who've unlocked the champion, while other players get it converted to coins. Just make the conversion better, and I think there's one of the problems solved. No champions, but champion wild cards and/or books.

If next season they keep all of these changes, especially the mega draft path of legends im just gonna delete the game because it’s becoming less and less f2p. I hadn’t upgraded my fire cracker and I realized I was playing with a lvl 2 fire crack a minute into the game.

What they could do is listen to community feedback and take responsibility for their mistakes. Will they do that?, no of course not.

Supercell does not understand that this game is build and used for competition and not for fun. Like people are littaly buying chests to have a better chance of winning against another player. But now we have a ladder to wait 4 min till the draft is over (not fun, and really depressing what makes me wanna uninstall).

Me realizing I can no longer all get chests, crowns, or big progress from 2v2 classic anymore: ANGERY

This season, my only goal will be to finish with the least crowns possible while enjoying 2v2. Kinda failed since I claimed 3 crowns from a quest, but wont be taking a single more crown.

B-rad also wouldn't be happy about the possible Miner nerf 😂

I lost 350 gems from the last season shop.. I had 5000 season points on the last day of the season so i decided to spend gems on getting enough points to buy the emote from the season shop. (I was busy so i couldn't play the whole time to get what i needed for this one emote) But what i didn't know was that the season points wouldn't be saved but they will get converted into gold for each 10 points that you had you would earn 1 coin. Thus i just spent 350 gems to not get enough points to buy that emote and lost exactly 6490 points that got converted into 649 coins.. This update sucks!

2:35 Theres literally 110 cards in the game, and they decide to remove the 1 book of books, which you have to pay for real money not coins or gems, making the pass much less worth to buy

You forgot to mention the fact that they really balanced the levels on classic 2v2 party mode. Every card and tower is now level 11 . Which is total bs while I spent some time upgrading my cards to max just for it to play as level 11. It made it feel positively challenging before the update and it was way better.

I have basically no were to go in clash royale from where i am currently standing besides slowly gridding up my cards to level up my king since the game just forces me to be a certain level before i can move up arenas, but leveling up cards isent easy when i get a chest every 15 crowns instead of every 5. Game is currently hella boring cause there is noting to do except getting the daily 1000 points, which translates to 5000 coins and taking part of the clan wars

well, in Brazil the prices (in real) are something around R$37 for the gold pass and around of R$60 for the diamond. Sad. ($1 is around R$5)

I cant anymore. They got me stuck. I got to 6k with my main and now I’m stuck there playing lvl 14s with lvl 11 cards. The mega draft is everywhere. But it takes way to long to start a game and ends up being all about the picks not the gameplay. I logged in checked things and just logged out today. Ive been playing since beta. But I might be done.

Nobody is looking at the lower arenas as an arena 13 player. I have seen more champions in one month than in 2 years playing 2v2 at this point its not fun anymore because in ladder it's just broken

CR was among the first online games I played, keyword "WAS". Everything went downhill after Clan wars 1, if they added more features than they REworks of existing features, I and many more would stick around

You know, america somehow has it cheaper than europe, our pass royale always costed 6 euro's, euro had higher value than dollar, now gold pass cost €7 and diamond €15, note euro is now about the same worth as us dollar.

this update kicks players out and then they arent getting enough money which means more expensive pass, which means more people leave and the cycle keeps going

they should've kept the royal wild chest in the free pass bc now with no book of books champions are TOO scarce. one a month from the pass would still take forever to max so this change was a bit too much. the idea to make champions harder to get was good because they should be seen as godlike super rare cards

Im happy i stoped playing couple months ago,i realised it wasnt fun at all, just trying to counter overleveled spammers and any kind of strategy was beaten by maxed cards when i got like 2 maxed cards
