I ALWAYS love how the athletes in strongman encourage and support each other ever after the win their particular event or race. They truly never leave one behind. Oh and as always big big thank you to BIG Loz and little Liz for the coverage and comments.
Damn there's some banshees in the crowd

What a show..would have been missed for a lot of people if it wasn’t for you both.. loz & liz your channel & coverage of these shows just gets better..thank you 🙏
Fucking loved the stone over bar format. They could do something like that on the deadlift, log and stones on Giants Live/WSM. Interesting way to put the entire field on a head to head event. Can you imagine Zydrunas outpressing Brian, Thor and Eddie all in one go? Or Eddie deadlifting for days? Or maybe Tom vs Trey vs Brian vs Martins at the stone over bar, that would be legendary! What a battle of event. I need more of that.
When it comes to Stone over Bar for reps I think I like this format, could be fun to see this in other comps.

It looks really cool but doesn't seem fairm your rest is determined by how fresh the other guys you're against are, or how good at stones they are, so it's not the same for everyone. If multiple people tap out between you you get slightly longer while they change as well, and nevermind that going last means you get max reps every rep.
Great coverage. Your guy, Matthew McKeegan was a monster on the stone over bar. That is the most brutal way to do that event.

That was really impressive. He really did give 100% and collapsed at the end. You really can't ask for more.
The quality of that footage is incredible ! Great job to you guys to upload these so fast
Those down commands on sandbag to shoulder were the most lenient i've ever seen.
The thing I admire the most about lower weight strength athletes are their mobility, they are so fast, agile, aggressive .... move it like a cardio-like athletes that makes it more fun to see. Clash on the Coast is the one that I like to see their mobility strength test to it
Big Matthew McKeegan fan after this show!
The circus dumbbell event is so interesting because it seems so very dependent on technique. Lot of great overhead pressers don't do as well on the dumbbell as I suspect, and some people whose overhead press isn't there best event press the dumbbell much easier than those who are more overhead specialists. Easily one of my favorite events to watch just because I can never quite predict what will happen, unless of course novikov is competing then we know the heaviest dumbbell will be lifted and for as many reps as humans possible in the alotted time.

Because people try to push press it instead of jerking it. They would do much better in other overhead events if they jerked the weights, but they dont do that for some strange reason.

@@thorthewolf8801 tbf you see a lot more weightlifting type of techniques like the push jerk/split jerk at the lighter weight classes, but yea in the open classes not much. Kearney (although not really anymore) Kordiyaka, O'Dywer, Licis and Ortmayer are some guys that use jerk technique. But it's definitely a small group at the open level.
@thorthewolf8801

@@hockeyfreak896890 I largely think the reason is because many of them are ignorant to the effect that a good technique can have. Loz pretty much said it, they get big and compensate their lack of technique with their size and strength. They would definately gain an advantage, its not tied to weightclasses, if shw weightlifters can do it, so could strongman. Anyway, thats rant over.

Adapt of die, most guys are stuck in their ways and refuse to learn.
Thanks for the coverage, I actually prefer this to the TV event. No commercials, and the awards ceremony wasn't cut for time!
Brilliant coverage guys well done great event (aunty liz did a fab job on the camera) massive well done to matt second is amazing.

How could he not do well with his strength mom yelling “c’mon Mathew.”
Whoever that lady was screaming during the circus dumbbell event... I hope your vocal chords still exist and you didn't blow out a lung or anything. That was some impressive spectating!
Great contest guys the women shrieking from the sidelines was my favourite bit also Nick Best dressed like the Dutch bicycle police 🤣
Matt demolished that Cyre dumbbell! Schwartz was incredible on the stone over bar, that was the stand out performance for me.
Awesome coverage. Thanks a lot! Inspirational performance Matt 🙌
Legend Loz! Thanks for the footage!
Awesome coverage. We're fortunate to have this, thank you!
Thanks for bringing this to us!!
EPIC!! Thoroughly enjoyed everything about it!!! Seriously well done!
Great recap! The music at the end when all the participants and podium winners are being announced gets me teary!
fantastic video like always!
What a fantastic video! Such raw high quality footage! Thank you Liz!
That was one of the toughest contests and set of events I’ve seen. Great footage 🙏
Fantastic footage as always. Love your guys coverage of comps like this
Excellent content, well done Team Loz&Liz
I’ve not watched clash on the coast before. Really enjoyed the competition was a refreshing change. Thanks for the video
Thanks Liz for a great vid
Brutal. Excellent competition.
ty for the coverage
So glad I was able to watch this in person this year. What a great way to spend your birthday
Thank you both so much for the coverage! I wasn't home to watch the finals on ESPN so this is a lifesaver!
Great show!!!
Thanks for filming.
The stone over bar faceoff event was surprisingly cool format, really enjoyed it! and amazing coverage as always Liz!
Love it!!:)
I feel like I could achieve anything with Auntie Liz cheering me on! 😁 Great coverage as always, thanks guys 🎉
There's a nice camaraderie in the strong man community, even though they are competitors they still encourage and congratulate each other
What a phenomenal weekend! I had an absolute blast meeting y'all! The comp was so much fun, and the record breakers was crazy!
amazing coverage
woo hoo great show well done
Great finish. Nice contest.
I really like how they did the stone over bar event, wsm could take notes how to make it fair.
I absolutely LOVED their stone off concept as a final event. I hope World's Strongest Man is watching.
Cracking shirt choice by Uncle Loz 👌
The series of sandbags to shoulder was a really cool event!
I really enjoyed that stone over bar format.
the difference between bodybuilder and strongman is the cameraderie in strongman. Awesome video. They did so well.
Tyler Young made his first couple reps on CDB look easy! I was surprised he didn't get more reps. These guys are monsters!
That first guy on the left, Nick, for the louis cyr was fantastic - he kept control of the dumbbell all the time, really liked like it saved him time
I wish and hope i can reach so far one day with one of these competition
I train at the same gym with Jessie Nelson. We sit there in awe when he lifts
Liz, not quite in the Luke Stoltman league when it comes to encouragement but not far behind. And from the sound of it, it seems like you have taken some lessons from Loz in terms of advice to his/your athletes!! 👍👍👍
Well that was refreshing to hear you cheer on an American for once.
Loved it well done Mathew from a. proud Irishman . Well dome Liz and Loz
IM GOIN FOR WHOEVER WINS!!!!
i don't live too far from this. maybe next year I'll go.
Those stones looked brutal
Can we talk about the shirt Loz? That’s a belter!
Livestream worked great for the women. Great how you guys filled the dead time before the podium. Can someone talk to Brian about Melissa Peacock. I don’t think her or Sam or Nadia need to submit a video.
That shirt is classic The Rock circa 1999, hopefully you had some shiny Versace shoes and a gold chain to go with it.
Love Romark
could this be a premonition of Canada's performance in strongmen events?
Consider me a McKeegan Fan!
I clicked on this video because of the shirt. I wasn't disappointed 😄
Forget Luke Stoltman, I want Liz in my corner cheering! ❤
👍👍👍
Is there a rule that they can't switch arms partway through the dumbbell press? Seems like it would be a good idea.
Sandbags are life
Lol that woman getting scared by the competitors scream at 31:28
Yoke to frame carry are 800lb Yoke into 700lb Frame?
Some of them could probably have got another rep on the giant DB by being tactical with the time and resting longer.
Strongman owns the deadlift, but powerlifters still own the squat. It’s just that at the Arnold there were a few good squatters. To see guys get 10 reps on the deadlift with 630lb and on an axle, then struggle with one rep on a wrapped 600lb squat is interesting.
@kimaboe
2 жыл бұрын
It definitely speaks to how rare the squat is in strongman competition. Be it reps or for max, it is basically only seen in the WSM heats. I'm guessing most of these guys have never done a squat in a strongman comp before. And even if they have a good conventional squat, repping out 600 on that giant circus barbell with stops is something very different.
19:48 ÖSTROGEN SCREAM
19:35 he was so fast he confused liz
"Suplex City"
Really enjoyed this video Loz and Liz along with all your brilliant uploads! However I do think it was bad taste for the event organisers to publicly torture those poor women at the same time as the first 2 lads in the dumbell. Perhaps you couhave a word with them?
out of curiosity, what is the period between weigh-in and the contest?

Clash on the Coast 2: Electric Bubbaloo.
Don’t even know what are the weights in each of the competitions… thus hard to evaluate their power relative to eg giants live or Arnold’s

most of the events weights are stated in the video or description, but I would imagine u105kg guys would be moving a little less weight than the worlds best open class competitors…

Events are always changing, same with their order, you couldnt compare results even if you knew the weights.

Send me the watch Alexi novikoff and learn how to lift a dumbbells, they need to push up with the legs
Borderline xenophobic comment there by Evan Singleton... good on Liz for standing her ground!
Haven't a clue what weights they were lifting

Deadlift and dumbbell weights are in the video description and chapters. Weights for the other implements are mentioned by the MC in the video 👍🏼
Isaac is amazing, but nick is the best
Screaming a lil much
Wow very loud screaming
They should have just tried harder at school 😂😂🤣🤣😏😏
Great coverage 🥲 Bad xenophobic joke from Evan 😥
