For those that don't know, Beyond All Reason is a free-to-play, open-source RTS game based on the legendary Total Annihilation. It uses a variant of the Spring engine called Recoil and receives regular updates from the team. There's something for everyone, from several PVE game modes to big PVP games.

Now thats an RTS i have not heard alot about. I tired that game once and could never get into it
why do pros never use static defences?

Static defences can only defend one spot. They see it as its better to have units that you can move to where you need to defend. But then u can also attack with them.
That single file whistler push at 12:00 was so bad, xfac had a big lead but just throws it away with horrible micro and bad unit composition, I bet his attrition was like 30%. Does he not know artillery exists? It's literally perfect for a narrow lane scenario vs rocket bots especially when theres enemy buildings ontop of unreachable hills. Then he gets his stouts all dgunned. It's not even like chisato was playing perfect either, after that push Chisato is failing to spend full metal bar. The rest of the game is them just donating wreckage fields to each other 1 after the other, just weird. I assumed xfac put in a lot of work and became rly good to get to grand final and almost win but after this maybe 1v1 quality just sucks.

Yea it is abit of an outlier in the roster but tbh I really like playing on it
