Repairing two clarion hard wired remotes from a 2007 Chaparral ski boat. A specific ic chip inside the remote has shifted and possibly lifted from the circuit board. We use a method called reflowing to repair the solder joints.

Since the making of this video, I had the issue come back. I think the solder they use is just garbage and can’t stand up to the summer heat. I have since replaced the radio and remotes with aftermarket.
Can you tell me the model of the head unit these control?

Unfortunately I can’t recall and we have since sold the boat. I’m sorry
