Great video bro. AGR > Active Duty for sure. More flexibility, you have more control, and also typical AGR jobs you’re working without a boss breathing down your neck. You kind of just put fires out when they arise and many days don’t have a thing to do.

I'm waiting on my Recruiter to send me too MEPS, Im going to try and go 12-B for the AGR. I wanted to know if Boot camp is still as long and will I be sent out of state for Boot camp or would be at my local Guard station? Im trying to double dip on the Uncle Sams dime.

In the reserves, each year you have to do annual training, right? If you can't make the training with your unit, can you reschedule it another time and the training yourself?

Hey this is actually a pretty serious qurstion that I thought you might know. There are some positions open in my state and im looking to jump on it but there are requirements that I dont exactly meet. The mos requires you to be an e6 with 8 years but there is a waiver because of the lack of the mos nation wide to 4 years. Heres the question on that; will the announcement accept applicants with the waiver or the original mos requirement. I have almost 7 yrs. The other question is based on a hearsay based on reading other states agr standards so im not sure if its all agr. Ok so what I heard was that if you dont have the line score which in this case is a 112 st requirement, they were saying you can have 3 points short to still get passed hr to the board/interview . Thanks man, if you dont know then no worries ill just have to get a hold of the HRO

I finally got in touch with the right recruiter. The Airforce Reserve recruiter was pushing way to hard for Spec ops in the Orange County area. Leo ignoring what I wanted to do would spam my e mail with Spec Ops vids. The Air force National Guard reached out a few days ago and meet up with the recruiters July 25th to take the Asvab. Hope to get higher than a 60.

Can I re-enlist to go active duty reserve if I’m active duty. My first re-enlistment is approaching. I’m sifting through some comments and found a Sunkist question and you said it wasn’t possible. However, I found on the HRC website that it is

Got in contact with the Airforce recruiter for my area. Gave the Staff Sergeant my information and for some reason hes pushing hard for me to do U.S Airforce Spec Ops. 1st Im 30 years old. 2nd I have no desire to do any of that. Hoping I dont have to be to firm about the job I want or jump through hoops. Aiming for Security Forces 3P0X1. Either for the Airforce National Guard or Airforce Reserves. I meet up with him in O.C on the 22nd. And before anyone says how bad it is. I feel it would help me down the road in the civilian side. I already spent $1000s of bucks on my CCW my security permits etc. Security forces cant be that bad. I would think fighting on the front lines would be unless you love that short of thing. This is the last thing I need before I can do the jobs Im looking for. Without the military experience. You can't make more than 14 and thats if your lucky with a armed permit. And when you do find a armed security job. They expect you to work 15 to 17 hour days if not more. Done it in the past. I refuse ti ever work like that again on the civilian side.

How does housing work in the AGR? Are you responsible for your own housing if you relocate?

They pay for your rent based on the BAH zip code. Here in San Diego is $2300. Somewhere in Arkansas $1000. You can buy a house but you will most likely end up selling it every time you have to move but they the State will pay for your moving expenses. Big win on that part.

C ABIGAIL ARELLANO you’d have to check the portal. After the board to see if you were recommended by the board. From there it’s a wait. I’m still waiting

You're going to have to wait until you get into the Army and then change it later. As of right now, that's what they got for you. but honestly... m1 crewman is pretty fucking badass. I know I know, that's not what you want to hear but at least try it. Not everyone and I totally mean it, not everyone will get this chance. So go through it based on my opinion, and then go infantry afterwards.
