This might, without exaggeration, actually be the single greatest OST of all time. Beautiful beyond compare.
That was the greatest marriage proposal of all time
One of the most beautiful songs i have ever heard.
He says it in the extra minute of the epilogue in the PS2 version. You can understand that he says it after he exits coma and meet with Tomoyo... or also you can understand that he finally says it in heaven...
It’s so sad and feels lonely. But at the same exact time, it feels good...why
"I promise, I won't let go of your hand. It's your turn to be happy now. Come, let's go... toward that wonderful life." - Tomoya Okazaki

And thus, he dies, leaving Tomoyo sad and not really that much happier

+Kasie Smith let's not start with depression, at least she reunited with him after she died.

by all means keep holding onto that hope. the only reason they added that scene at the end of CS edition was so the fans would shut up.
this is really sad.... ;-;
Awesome!
The ending I wished was the real one... ;-;
Yup. At least that's what I understood and what seems more logical to me. Damn :C now I can't listen to this song or see a image of Tomoyo without feeling depressed :C she didn't deserve that. u.u
I'm not sure if that really was or not. We see it in a scene that looks confusing - it was written for one of the editions of the game as an "epilogue" - so I don't know if he really said it or if this was just a "vision" that Tomoyo had. Clannad can be confusing sometimes. T_T;
That's true, the game seems to intentionally leave that ambiguous, doesn't it?
His last words, correct?
when do he say that?
