agreed. remember when Lois got red kryptonite? She looked so sexy, major hot and that sex scene in the closet at the Planet. Sexiest Lois ever was in the series. Yes, I do believe Lana would've been just as hot or hotter.

my mom made me spend some time with her and she was watching this episode. I noticed the song in the background and had to find out who it was. Found it and went to go buy it at tower records, and it's still one of my favorite CD's to this day.

I don't think Erica Durance being married had anything to do with it. I feel like it was one of two things: one: we were so used to Clark and Lois being at each others throats, that seeing them love each other became weird, or two: that's how long we've been stuck with Lana and Clark, that the damn producers forgot that Lois is who he's "supposed to" be with

I disagree you could tell Erica was holding back plus they put what 8 seasons out of 10 into a romantical relationship with Lana but Lois and him had more of a "friendship" instead of the whole highschool" I love you and wanted you so bad but could never fully have you" and we got to see him hurt by her dyeing and having to leave , we got to see the heartbreaks between both Lana and Clark WAY more than with Lois. But from the movies Lois is somewhat a dunce and clumsy instead of romantic and maybe that's what the writers were going for but they pulled that off but left out any feeling 9f them truly being in-love. For petesake Chloe had more chemistry with Clark than Lois . And they made it to where he yearned for Lana so badly for all those seasons and just didn't make up for it when they finally brought Lois in the picture. To me their relationship seemed like a friendship and like I said that could've been on the writers or the fact Erica was married and women take "cheating" even if its not genuine and just acting a little different than men. But Tom did an incredible job but HE even seemed to have more chemistry with Lana than Lois .

I will admit, that if Chloe and Clark ended up together, that would've made sense if Chloe became Lois, but I personally never saw anything wrong with Lois and Clark on Smallville. Erica Durance didn't do too bad I don't think. But it was very sudden when it happened.
