Now wait a minute now why would you say that there wasn't any episodes to prove that Lana was trying to protect Clark not even in these episodes of Season 6 and you should know better than that because Clark is the one that's always protecting her and saving her because he always wants her to be safe, but since Lana broke up with Clark and starts being with Lex this was the most stupidest and worst Season ever.

She just said the same thing to him in Phantom after he told her everything Anddddd In season 3 episode Extinction she said the same about not caring if he’s meteor infected (the writers after s5 didn’t care to remember what they once wrote) See Lois bring allergic to Shelby rewrite, the forced Clois - all plot devices were more used than ever compared to early seasons

The writers used repetitive on/off relationship saga between Lana and Clark, and that was frustrating. Lana insisting over and over again that Clark’s super status would not be a deterrent for her is not lazy writing but proof that Clark should have but was not more forthcoming with the facts. Even without Lex or Lois or kryptonite, Clana was sinking because the two of them could not figure out how to openly discuss the issues, and instead just assumed that hiding the truth from their respective lover was the better option. I disagree that Clois was forced. Those two had six seasons to grow into their ultimate identities.

This couple tried so damn hard to make it work. The Rome and Juliet love story. ❤️❤️🙏 In a weird way I was rooting for them. But it fell apart. They truly loved one another but it was always going to be Lois like in the comic books. Fans would have stopped watching the show had Lana and Clark become a couple instead of Lois.
