Hi Tomasz. Nice informative video.. i bought a set of 4 last year without the clamps, which was a big mistake. So I ordered the clamps separately but the holes were too small on the squares, so I had to drill them to fit. Moral of the story - buy them together. BTW they are superb just as you have demonstrated

@@CasualDIY About screwing them down, you could easily make a jig for picture frames as well! It's definitely not a bad idea. 😃

Another excellent review, the Veiko stuff seems to be like pretty decent overall 👍 Thought I'd found the same item cheaper on Amazon, the pics shows two sets for £13.61 but the description said only one ... before I realised that I posted the link (then came back to delete it) ... YT just threatened to ban me from making comments for Spam/Abuse or whatever ... nice!

They look really sharp! Thanks for showing. I don’t know about not being able to bend them though. It feels like you will be able to get them out of square by hand alone if you tried putting them apart. Or if you clamped heavier pieces together and you knocked them over with one of the arms standing up. User error in that case yes, you can always lie them down but yeah, I guess I’m trying to say I’d probably still treat it with some care.

  • @CasualDIY

Well yes you can bend titanium but how much force you need to use to do that. I can imagine it's possible to bend them but in a normal workshop situation and forces you use in that operation I can see it will be highly unlikely. However time will tell if that will be the case 🤔

  • @yewsengcheong1637

@@CasualDIY oh they are titanium? That’s probably better. I think with reasonable use, they would be ok. I would still assume that some level of care would be good. It’s probably also more me being me. 🤭

@@yewsengcheong1637 Hehe no they are not titanium I was just making a statement that with enough force you can bend anything. As I say after few months using them I will have a better picture if how they are holding up and I will just use that in a normal way 👍

Could someone please explain the technique for releasing the clamps? I unscrew the black screw piece, but the hold of the red clamp piece is still strong. It won't release from me pulling it away from the board. I end up having to twist and remove the silver L shaped piece from the hole of the red L corner square, which is not good for the wood or the red L corner square finish. What am I doing wrong??

Never had an issue like that. Just un-do the knob and it's coming off. Can't imagine how that is not working for you.

Nice 👍, if the holes match the 96mm MFT holes, you could 3D print some dogs to hold some in position 🤔
