This is amazing! As a lifelong erasure and Steps fan (Claire being my favourite) this is a match made in heaven. I think Andy and Claires voice compliment each other beautifully. Who cares whos taking the lead? We need an album of duets from this pairing with Vince Clarke doing the music. Truly a visionary pairing to put Bell and Richards together. Is it just me or can you see this being performed on Strictly as a Cha Cha Cha? Congrats to Claire and Andy on what deserves to be a massive hit. Love it 😘

Abba is Abba. Period! But this adds a whole new dimension. The bass is infectious and adds a new twist on the original. The production is balanced and gives credance to Claire over Andy without dininishing his imput. The genious of Benny and Bjorn re- imagined. I wonder what they think of the remake? If it were me i think id be pround that 2 very well established artists had collaborated to give my musical vision a new lease of life. I really do think Claire and Andy have done this track proud and given it their all. It really is something special. Earler today i listened to Roma Kenga's version of this song. Its vaguely similar but witout the panache and sparkle of Claire and Andy. This deserves to be a massive summer hit. I keep my fingers X that the bemoaners dont sink it. Its amazing. Best thing ive heard all year!

Andy has a 4 Octave range, Claire has at least a 2-3 octave soprano range. That is talent. I agree with other comments that the production overtook the quality of the vocals. I'd love to hear it stripped back.

At least it could have been much better without Andy Bell: he not singing very well here(a bit out of key) and too dominant( or mixed down too loud!)

It somehow lacks the driving power and punch of the original by ABBA. It needs more oomph.

I have to say this is pretty banging after being disappointed with "I Surrender" being chosen as the single. Claire's adlibs towards the end is phenomenal and fitting! The drop and music instrumentation during "My kind of people everywhere" is DOPE!

Not one of ABBA's better songs. Claire's voice sounds fantastic as always. Not sure if i like it or not though, think it'll take a bit more listenening too to win me over.

Agnetha was not a fan of this song at first, but came to like it...

Those having a moan about Andy Bell's voice bear in mind hes 59, used to smoke and drink. Which can have a long lasting effect on the vocals

I think the mix has given Claire the edge on this track (After all it's her track 'featuring' Andy Bell. However, I bet if Andy's voice was released at full throttle he could give Claire a run for her money) I think it's a good balance. As a lifelong erasure/steps fan I've been waiting to hear this track and it's a definite grower. I'm not disappointed. Would love to hear more of this pairing. I think their voices compliment each other perfectly. Wern't they both contestants on Popstar to Opera star? A good match.

Like it but don’t love it. Love Claire & Andy, but Would expect this to be so much better. Production is off somehow, and it sounds like there just laying basic vocals without much feeling. Basically it needs the rest of steps on it! Miss those Harmony’s. Maybe a live performance or some of the remixes will help 🤞🏼

The track was actually made for Andy's forthcoming album and Claire has been allowed to include it on hers too as part of the deal.

I disagree. I'm an equal erasure/steps fan but Claire definitely more dominant in the vocal. I know Andy opens the track but Claire owns the song. I think they make for a well balanced pairing. Abba is always a difficult act to follow but this is a fresh take on a song many artists have covered in the past. I think this version takes things to a new level. It's a duet (a musical composition for two voices or instruments) The more I listen to it the more I like it. I'd personally like to hear more from the pairing.

I think this one is a grow on you track like some Steps songs.. I like it but keep expecting to hear Bjorn not Andy lol..you certainly know its Claire though!!

@@JohnSimpson36 that's nonsense: an educated singer learned how to manage sing good, even at older age: just listen to Frank Siantra, only to name one example, this is easy to prove:-)

This is good… BUT… I wish there was more emphasis on the key change from the verses into the chorus… such as a bang or explosion and make it more prominent… those key changes would elevated the song to another level.

It needed some more backing vocals on it to layer it and give it that ABBA vocal stacking and Ooomph that we're used to hearing. I don't understand why they didn't as both singers have great ranges and strong vocal. I like it but it comes off a little flat in places(not their voices i must stress!)

For my first listen, it's not that bad but I'll be honest, this would have been a much better track if it was just solo Claire. It will probably grow on me, though.

For all the moaners go and listen to today's modern day rubbish, do you honestly think, the likes of Tom Grennan will be be around as long as Erasure and Steps, NOPE
