so, i recently had a dream in which this guy was my best friend since childhood and then when we turned 13 he asked me out and later on to be his girlfriend and i really liked him too but i had to explain because of my culture and religion, he can't kiss, hug, or touch me in anyway and he said "oh that's it? no problem". and then we went on to date for years and got married. The fact that he was in love with me for all those years without touching me or finding another lady makes me wish... that it wasn't just a dream.

When I heard this it was like I recognized it without ever hearing it. Like it brought all of my emotions to the surface and left the numb behind. It felt like butterflies were carrying me to an alternate universe. As the delicate noises of the piano ring in my head it feels as though I have just won a battle, or rather a war. It smells like a dewy spring on an early morning and it seems to taste like cherries. It feels ever so nostalgic and comforting. It's ethereal and seems like it doesn't belong here on the ground and contained in the boxes we call buildings. It belongs up in the sky with the birds and the clouds with a bundle of cotton candy and the wind gently flowing through the air. It seems like this.. this is perfect.

Okay so-- y'all can say stuff like this in a KZread comment section but I can't even write a back story for my D&D character

The weirdest thing happened! I was sleeping while playing this song. I had a dream about me and a guy dancing. But it was like royal so I was a princess and he a prince but we both wore mask because that was the party. I was about to remove the mask and I woke up at 3:59 am. I go back to sleep and I’m in normal clothes and I’m in this long hallway as I feel like I’m being followed. I open a door in front of me and i was pulled back into the dance with the prince. I saw his eyes and hair and then I heard his voice. I felt so happy. And this felt real. I took off his mask but saw nothing. I woke up and I knew that voice but I don’t know where from. I ask my bf to send me a voice message and it was him. My bf was the prince. I was so happy and weirded out. Then the next day when I was looking for royal dresses I saw the exact dress I had on in the dream.

This broke my heart or more so made it heavy and it crashed…I’ve lost my connection with my mother. I’ve never was given the chance to really get to know her and now I fear I never will. Imagine this: Being a solitary ghost going through houses searching for someone and at a certain point, you hear this song playing in another room, you go check it out and.. And it's the ghost of your loved one. They've been playing the song the both of you loved for centuries and you finally found each other and just sit there, keeping on playing it or dancing on it's melody. This is just a 4 am though eheheh.. But, it would be so beautiful.

When this song started I felt like I was in a garden in the 1800s while it was raining,there was a piano playing in the huge castle, I looked around in delight and while I was looking around I saw Eren in his suit with his hair in a man bun, he walked up to me and asked to “may I walk with you” and of course I said “yes” he grabbed my hand and we walked around the garden together. I’ve just finished talking to my friend about god and she opened my eyes so I’m here to pray for you God please let whoever is reading this know they were born for a purpose and ever if they have yet to find it, they will eventually. It may come in the shape of a person or maybe a thing. There is something in the world that needs you to help it and you need to be here to. So when I say this, and trust me I struggle with suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety and all of those types of things. You may not see it yet but you’re here for a reason so wait until you find your reason it might not seem like it’s worth it currently but in any matter of time you’ll understand why everyone cares about you so much. So God please watch out for anyone and everyone who sees this. Let them live a happy and graceful life that fulfills everything they want. They might have hardships but let them find the right path soon enough. Help them take that leap of faith to find you

I went to my grandmothers house and I saw this on her piano I noticed it but I didn't say anything until we were about to leave. When I asked she said she wanted to learn to play it but she had no time. She went on saying that it was her mothers favorite song, that she wants to play it to feel closer to her mother.

I found this while I was looking for music to relax with my fiancé with. He’s never been a dancer and is clumsy when dancing but this was the only time we fell into pace without him stepping on my toes. It felt right and perfect. He treats me like a prince and he loves me so much. We don’t always see eye to eye (I’m shorter then him too 😖) but he always loves me and cares about me at the end of the day.

“Hold on, before I go there’s one memory I want to pass on.” She closes her eyes and aggressively grabbed his hand, transferring them back to the moment. The moment where it all started. Where things were okay. They we fine back then. A tall thin man on the piano playing a familiar tune. What was that tune? Well besides the point, I stood there watching the rain hit the windows. That old melody playing in my head as the rain dancing to the verses. When suddenly I saw him. Standing there, looking out the window in a far corner. Clearly the tall man orchestrating the piano had no mention that boy was listening by the window. He sat hugging his knees. It all seemed so perfect. Like although your world couldn’t be less perfect, you laid your eyes on the one key to this black hole of a room. The blue light shining from the windows danced as the trees swayed with the wind. They open their eyes again, still holding hands. “So this is it?” He asked “this is how it ends?” “I guess so,” she replied “I’ve transferred all my memories back, and I don’t want them to return,” her eyes glossed over and became red. Her cheeks burned as they got closer. “Well,” he whispered as they were now centimeters away, “ let’s finish the way we started” with the snap of his fingers that pretty tune came again. That old tune she could never think of, started to reminisce again. It all came back like a flood. She pulled him into her arms and tears streamed down her face. Just as quickly as she pulled him in, he disappeared. Gone. Faded. Left with all the memories and laughter. It was better this way. She wouldn’t be sad now because she didn’t remember him. Right?

I don’t know how but a completely grey sky is calm while one where light shines through is sadder, perhaps it is because the light signifies that the storm is over and you now have to move on, perhaps it symbolises memories of joy that I have lost.

a couple years ago i joined a piano discord server despite not being able to play piano... i made a lot of amazing friends, and i can remember sitting in voice calls with them, listening to them play this piece. i've been grounded for a few months now and haven't been able to talk to them or listen to them play, so this brings up a lot of emotions.

I know everyone hears this piece and says it sounds dark and melancholy.. but when I hear this piece, it’s the redemption of time that’s been lost. And remembering who you are. It’s waking up one day, and finally smiling, after so many years of feeling sad. At least, this is what it sounds like to me.

You sit on your room thinking about life. It’s raining hard,no one home but your dog. Then you here a ding from your phone. Your partner.. “Hello sweetie, what r u doing?” It said. You fill up with warmth. You text them back and have a chat, and you decided to put on more calm music. The music made the music as you slowly fell asleep. You’re dog/cat canes and sits on your lap. No homework, no stress, just peace and warmth..

this makes me feel like i’m waking up from a afternoon nap and someone i love is playing piano down the hall..

this piece makes me feel an emotion that i can not seem to describe. that emptiness i once had is completely taken over by this emotion. it makes me want to take a deep breathe and tell myself everything will be okay. maybe one day, we’ll never know.

This song, I don't know what it is. It just brings this tense but calm sensation to me. I remember my one crush the one that I loved so much. Listening to this with someone is like saying “I love you” or “becoming soulmates”. It’s so beautiful and makes you feel 10 emotions at once, and sharing that feeling with someone is probably gonna be the best you’ll get to “true” love if you have bad love life. Something like that 💕

This piece feels like life. You can hear the gentle start of one’s life that is merely beginning to bloom in a kind caress, with the gradual curve of the so-called ‘prime of one’s life’ followed by life fading away once more, yet fading to create life again. It feels like all the great things in life as well. Watching the stars at night with a friend and catching a glimpse at a shooting star. A warm hug after a hardship you’ve gone through. That warm feeling you get when you stare at a fire and can feel the heat gently licking the air around you. The accomplishments that you’ll get throughout your whole life and that warm feeling you get after them. But overall it feels like nostalgia. Looking back at your life as a child, and hearing the simple tune at the start that changes to a more mature air. This. This is truly it.

pov: youre sitting in an open field of your favorite flowers, looking up at the sky while this song plays. the sky is nearly black, looking as though hell was opening from above. lightning lights up the sky making it look like it was broad daylight. the rain is ice cold, but you don't pay any mind. you can hardly feel it. each boom of thunder tears away at the flesh of your soul, and the rain washes away the tears you can no longer release. you lay back, making sure to pick a flower, and placing it on your chest in clasped hands as you let your eyes fall shut. here, you decide, is where you will wither in peace.

There we were, admiring the newly hung christmas lights on the balcony. This really is the perfect moment, it was snowing. We were both so cold, but I still gave her my jacket, i would give another just for this moment to continue. This is the moment that i knew she was the girl i wanted to marry. this was it.

This reminds me of my old house, I lived in there for only 2 years but the memories still remain. I remember 24/7 all you could hear is cicadas but it was a harmony a song it was the familiar sound that made me know I was home, know I dont have that. But this song, feels like a distant memory.. I really understand how it feels trying to focus on studying, it can be hard sometimes. I created this exactly with that in mind! And the nature background sounds are sooo relaxing. Since I will keep doing videos like this I will group them in a playlist! Maybe it may help you!

The way this songs makes me feel… it’s inexplicable. I always feel like my soul has lost someone and that this song is reminding it of them. Someone from long ago. I have a lump in my throat like sadness. But I also get really warm when I listen to it so that’s where I get confused.

This song straight up brings back memories that is non-existen…

This song makes you wistful about a time you never lived, missing people you never met, and crying tears over things that could've happened instead. It conjures the exact same feeling as gazing at a full moon on a desolate beach. With the rain and muffled "in the other room" effects, I imagine I'm having a quiet evening on my balcony and my imaginary husband is in the other room playing, practicing but also knowing I can hear it and enjoy it. We love each other a lot and get along beautifully but both of us get lost in our own worlds and need a lot of solitude at times. I got the grand piano for him on our 5th wedding anniversary bc he played in high school and college but stopped afterward and got a job in finance, and suffered when he lost his creative outlet, not realizing how vital that sense of release had been to his inner peace. Hearing him play makes me happy knowing he has his beautiful special way of pouring out his soul. After he's done I'll come in there and kiss his shoulder, offer some tea and thoughtful conversation.

I'm a nostalgic person, Claire de Lune is love and sadness, calm but it can shake all my deepest emotions, it's joy and hope gather all of them to make me feel complete. Love this so much!

this song makes me feel something that ive never felt before. cant tell if it makes me feel good or bad. it feels like pure nostalgia. the kinds of nostalgia you get from something that you've never actually experienced.

It's not easy to get familiar with any vibration, whatever the sound, quivering at the background of this awesome piano piece. Nevertheless, adding the fall of the rain and some thunder voices to this piano poetry seems to give you a second image, another vision, different from that one debussy wanted you to forsee. It feels somewhat strange but it's O.K.

When i was little I played a simple version of this song on clarinet and now this song reminds me of my amazing teacher who taught me to love music. I have to admit I shed a tear when I hear this song

this song makes me feel so a peace, I can't even explain it in words, but when I hear this version I imagine I'm in a long hallway and its dim and the only light comes from the candles and lighting from the storm and at the end of a hall way someone is playing a grand piano and it gets louder as I walk forward. its lowkey kind of scary but at the same time so peaceful

-You're lucky if you looked in the replies ;) The door chime tinkled as you walked inside, and lined up for your order. You were greeted by the scents of cinnamon buns, and coffee. The place was dimly-lit, and reminded you of fall. It was pleasant. You ordered a cup of coffee, and she recognized your voice immediately. You caught her attention, finally, her cheeks were rosy red, 'how adorable,' you thought. Your coffee arrived a few moments later, and you sat in the chair directly across her. You greeted her with a warm smile, and sipped your coffee, but it was still steaming hot, you sputtered, burning your tongue. "Oh, my apologies," you said. She remained silent, not saying a word. But you had an idea. 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘸𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴. You went back in line, and ordered a strawberry milkshake, and went back to your seat. Her face was like a tomato. You giggled "I know it's you." She let out a relieved sigh, "I was suffocating," she joked. She stroked your cheek, and pulled you in for a kiss. "I love you," you breathed. She gasped and giggled. "I love me too."

(real story that happened to me) pov: your wide awake at midnight and staring at the ceiling as you think of that one person, that makes you the most happiest/peaceful and you soon start to happy/sad cry and squeeze all of those bad emotions out returning with good ones, and thinking of calming memories you had when you were younger, wishing it was all back but you know that when the world leaves you out, that person comes in, and you feel like your not alone and you are drifting away from people who are toxic. you take a deep breath and hug onto your pillow beside you and tearing up as you feel like they are beside you and caring about you, you slowly close your eyes into a majestic feeling and fall asleep as clair de lune plays. (my story)
