It has been over 10 years since CLAAS' AXION 900 high horsepower tractors were made available in the Australian market, and it has been very popular model among Aussie farmers.
As pressures increase in the farming industry to produce more food and fibre in less time, machinery needs to be constantly upgraded and modernised to continue to meet these demands.
CLAAS has done just that with its AXION 900 range, its latest round of changes reflecting the needs of the modern farmer and the challenges they face.
Its new engine offers more power while keeping maintenance costs low; while its new front axle allows for improved steering capacity and comfort for operators, the company said.
We visited CLAAS distributor, Landpower's HQ in Melbourne's west to see the new tractors in the flesh and managed to catch up with product manager, James Harrison, to go through the latest upgrades.
