Douglas Smythe, the artisan of this beauty, is a Bay Rum guy. He got into this business because he loved Bay Rum and no one did it "correctly". He often cited that soaps from others used too much clove and the scents were jagged. He does not disappoint in this offering. He literally built this scent from scratch and it's clear why no other company has an offering that's better (I agree with him). If you like Bay Rum, you need to consider this. He has another Bay Rum offering that I will be posting tomorrow so you may want to wait for that one before making a purchase. Enjoy!
