This song is incredible, and while being incredibly authentic to the queen, is very inspired by late 90s early 2000s rap legends like Lil Kim, Missy E, Lauren Hill in ALL the best ways. I am beyond proud of CL. So much joy and pride listening to this album. 😍😭

When Alpha came out she said on an interview that she was working on the choreography for this song but we still haven't seen this mv not either a performance in her shows...

See, if u want to experiment with music, this is how u do it. Different yet doesn't hurt our ears. In fact it's pleasing. Istg sometimes i saw fans hyping experimental music but my ears can't go pass through 10 sec of the song without my ears bleeding.

CL also helped popularize the word in Korea to mean the “baddest female.” GZBz! (That’s from google) and I want to add that CL meant no harm when she calls her fans like that. That’s why in her song, “NOT BAD BUT BAD MEANING GOOD, YOU KNOW”.

She's serving us some Missy Elliott vibes and I'm here for it!

I get so many different inspirations from this from so many hip-hop artists proving CL knows her stuff and uses it to her advantage. Yet each note is her own. Only a Queen and a Goddess could! This is something entirely new from her and I love it!

This song has such deep vines of late 90s - early - mid 2000s rap and hip hop. Missy Elliot, Lil Kim, Lauren Hill. Absolutely love this. 😍😘 I am so proud of CL for giving us such an authentic album with so many genres.

This is giving me BAD LIL KIM VIBES. You can really tell this girl has knowledge on the hip-hop scene. I'm so glad she's able to use those reference and make something so unique, original and of course, of her own style but still embracing her culture and personality. THE ONE AND ONLY INDEED.

not sure about other people but i'm really enjoying the 90s and oldschool vibes, as well as the diversity and range of sounds that CL is offering on this debut album. If i'm being honest, this album strikes me like a portfolio album that you'd show to your potential bosses during an interview. each song seems to be a flex of the skills CL has for a certain genre, and the entire album is a display of the accumulation of her skills and experience gained from being in the music industry. on the album, we can clearly see CL with a lot of different sounds, and i'm guessing if it's to find which type would suit her. but really though, she pulled off each style on the album really nicely. i might be wrong though. or perhaps, it's because i don't listen to a lot of mainstream music or as hardcore as many other people do. but so far, i'm really enjoying all these oldschool vibes. it's refreshing from all the love songs and very manufactured-sounding music out there on the radio these days
