As a Nigerian, I would've loved to know how accurately these 12 languages translated our language. Actually, the original song contains two languages: *Igbo and Pidgin English.* Nigerian has 300 tribes. When we use the word, 'tribe', we mean language and cultural group. CKay belong to the IGBO tribe. So, he mixed his tribal language with Nigerian pidgin. Every Nigerian speaks pidgin English, so Nigerian artists use pidgin English to communicate across tribal or language barriers. I love the FRENCH version.

I’m a native English speaker and also speak Spanish and Portuguese. Now I can’t speak for the Igbo parts, but for these two languages, the English parts of the song were not translated well. Seems like they focused more on finding lyrics that would match the flow of the song rather than getting the correct translations, because those wouldn’t have flowed the same. So to answer your question, for these two languages at least, I can’t speak for the other ones, they were not translated well/correctly.

Thank you for the small insight of Nigerian tribes, I love knowing about other cultures especially from people wij are natives to those cultures. I don't know about the pieces in tribe, but sadly the German version wasn't translated correctly either. I usually love the original version of most songs and although I love CKay's... I find myself liking the French version very much too.
