Part 1: • CJ on Growing Up in St...
--------
In this clip, CJ talks about the shocking responses he got from the release of the song that put him on the map called "Whoopty." The Staten Island native shares that he downloaded the Drill inspired track by a Romanian producer named Pxcoyo, having never dabbled in the genre before. But once he shared a snippet of the composition on IG live, people were clamoring for more. Therefore, he released the a music video for the song, during the pandemic, and it soon went viral.

Unfortunately CJ is in a Tricky situation with "Whooty" success is what that record achieved over 380 Million views. Now the image and style is what people want more of. Whether gang affiliated or not it doesn't matter the image and the glorification of money, Drugs, sex, and violence is pushed. That equals money for the labels and companies.
