Civitavecchia to Olbia ferry trip on MS Athara
My ferry trip from Rome (Civitavecchia) to Olbia, Sardinia on Tirrenia's MS Athara and the things I noticed along the way. Please note, I travelled as a foot passenger and did not bring a vehicle. Also all the info on the things I saw is taken from Wikipedia and there may be 1 or 2 errors so double check everything yourself if you want accurate information.

Just discovered your channel, I have recently retired , not much pension but I intend to sell my small house in York and travel on the proceeds . Trains and ferries look like a really fantastic way to see Europe . Thanks for opening my eyes to the possibilities. Liked and subbed .
Bella la mia Sardegna!
Many thanks...an interesting video. I look forward to watching your new videos as you produce them...I'm a subscriber. I really appreciate the natural sounds...you do not need music to accompany this type of programme and I hope you continue to avoid adding music. Best wishes. Rob.
Thank you again, very nice video. Sad to see Europa Palace in another route!

Europa Palace/Amsicora has returned to Greece on the route Piraeus - Souda - Heraklion as "Mykonos Palace" under Minoan Lines livery again. Former "Olympia Palace/Bonaria" named "Cruise Bonaria" under Grimaldi Lines livery on the route Livorno Olbia.
Loved this video. Would love to be able to visit Italy and the Mediterranean Islands like you have shared. What about Malta? I've been to Malta. What an amazing harbor there!
Great video! Unfortunately they closed on all ships from Bithia class the open air back deck... but I'm sure however you have enjoyed the trip in our seas! Just to inform you, the coloured things in Olbia port are buoys for mussels breeding (:

Glad you like it, I have watched and liked your videos on Baltic Princess, Viking Grace, Amorella and others too. Viking Grace looks like a very nice ship however I definitely wont be able to go on it this year as all my holidays are used up so I wont be able to do anymore travelling. Maybe next year or the year after :)

thanks for replying, I will put in less because I was watching some of the old videos and in some of those the music is a bit irritating.

So many people get he words QUITE and QUIET mixed up. It's QUITE QU ITE
At 8:44 or so those lines of colorful small bottle/floats Look much like “crab pots” on Chesapeake Bay! Uncontrolled, they can be a nuisance to navigation!! The individual colors indicate specific ownership.
1:02 floating caskets...😏
No cabin or food views
Mussels or similar farms .
Britain should be ashamed that we no longer have any ship building industry, all our ships are built abroad. even the Queens are not British. Who is to blame?
