Grew up with CityTV. Was a constant. When it wasn't Blockbuster or Famous Players, it was CityTV. And it wouldn't have been City without Mark Dailey!

Just had to hear his voice again. Citytv has not been the same since his passing.

I get a knot in my stomach just watching this from the nostalgia. Life was so good back then, and hearing him was one of things I never took for granted.

Citytv died the day the Daly-era of Toronto ended. Started the Drake-era that same year and as he says nothing was the same. RIP Mark Daly.

And if you're a fan of the original Beyblade anime TV series, Mark was also the voice of the BBA Announcer himself the one and only Bradley "Brad" Best!

My antenna didn't get the best reception so I had to watch Channel 57 through a snow storm on my tv screen . . . and it was worth it. I liked the movies, and I liked the throws to commercial starring the voice of Mark Dailey. I had to laugh when Mike Myers on the carpet at an awards show grabs a microphone and goes *"we'll be back with more Late Great Movies on Citytv."* Wonderful unexpected little tribute.
