Fun Fact: Nobody actually sees airbending. The effect of airbending is only for the fans so it‘s visible for us but not for the characters. (The people only can feel it like we do in real life, I guess)

Iroh knew about the Dai Li (I mean, he was a general that lead an assault into the city; even if he never saw them, he probably got numerous reports of strange earth-benders in black uniforms that didn't act like traditional soldiers, maybe even some of his own men going missing or boroughs of the city being strangely empty. The Dai Li also probably knew what he and maybe even Zuko looked like, considering there're wanted posters of them all over the Earth Kingdom). He knew they were being watched, but he just didn't know it was Jet; or rather Jet was also watching them. Which is why he throws the bad tea out the window and speaks so loudly and inconspicuously (I don't know if that's the right word, but he doesn't talk like how he usually does; he talks very clearly and very carefully and he made sure to not call Zuko by his real name); not to mention he goes out of his way to borrow spark-rocks even though he's in the privacy of his home. where nobody else is. He realized that "why would someone sneak into a refugee's apartment just to steal a set of spark-rocks and nothing else?" Iroh was trying to stay composed and keep the act up in front of the audience while Zuko is living the retail-worker's dream of fighting the annoying customer (those weren't even his swords, he yanked them off one of the police guys).

to be fair though, they live in an era where photographs don't exist so the Dai Li probably couldn't really ID them so easily, heck, even in the Fire Nation there are people who can screw up which side of Zuko's face his scar is supposed to be on.

@@gabs512 Every since atla came to American Netflix, a lot of people started realizing things, both from like re-watching it and watching it for the first time. Iroh went through depression (about between since his son died and after Zuko challenged Xhao), Smeller Bee is a trans girl and not just a tomboy, a certain waterbender is the reason Katara's mother was killed, Monk Gyatso killed all those firebenders (he removed all the air from the room, suffocating them all and preventing them from firebending, his corpse is surrounded by numerous firebender corpses and his clothes aren't singed), there's a good chance Suki and everyone on Kyoshi island is technically Aang's relative making him both Sokka's brother-in-law and father-in-law, I've seen a lot more trans-Sokka headcanons lately, just a lot more realizations and a lot more headcanons that make a lot of sense.

Iroh is a highly skilled and experienced warrior so he very well might have noticed Jet following them since the train station and that's why he was basically narrating his actions and not using his bending even though him and Zuko were alone.

What's interesting is when you compare both zuko and jet, both two antagonists with obsessions that corrupt them, zuko and trying to capture aang and jet with hating the fire nation, the way their character types part is how they ultimately deal with their obsession (spoiler on that so I won't say)

I hate to break it to you but theres almost no racism in police force. You have been lied to by mainstream media with a certain agenda. Theres hardly any real racism. Even the Floyd death wasnt about racism.....there was an antire team of officers that stood next to the sicko officer...all diferent ethnic backgrounds.....so his death also was not about racism. But yeah the media loves to play that card cause it sets people up against eachother and George Soros loves to fund groups like Antifa and BLM cause all the money goes directly to the democratic party that has been hijacked and to their plan ''divide and conquer''. Theres actually more black on white crime than white on black if you look at the statistics, and even that isnt about racism. People have been tricked by elites. Please dont fall for the narritive the mainstream media is trying to give you. Mainstream Media is basicly ba sing se trying to sell you a certain worldview that actually isnt all that accurate!

@@wateryourplants5771 you should look up Christopher Dorner. The former LAPD member that exposed all the stuff the LAPD was hiding and then who battled the LAPD throughout all of California. A lot of stuff actually does get covered up by the police. And just because people post it on social media doesn't mean it's actually proven, so actual information on it can be hidden from the public still.

Oh also, Lupa, Long Feng's voice is Clancy Brown he was the voice of Lex Luthor from the Batman/Superman Animated series from the 90s. He also more recently did the voice of Risotta Grupa, the alien from the Rick and Morty episode that was trying to kill Rick from the Whirly Durly Conspiracy.

We are living in the era of the 14th dalai lama that is "Tenzin Gyatso" .

Avatars are the Hindu version of Jesus. An avatar is the human incarnation of a god, continuously reincarnates in human form. The word avatar has become mainstream to represent a form that another person takes within another space, such as digital avatars or James Cameron’s avatar (where they incarnate into other bodies)

Idk if Uncle really knew Jet was watching them and that's why he asked the neighbors for spark rocks - it wouldn't surprise me, Iroh and Zuko both have serious Ninja-powers after all, they probably have like a 6th sense for this - but I guess he might have just figured that Zuko was right to criticize him for heating the tea and that they should tread carefully. Chances are he also knows about the Dai Li and that Ba Sing Se is like a total police state, so he decided to just be careful.
