City of Phoenix ⇨ Amrep N3 ASL on 300s

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

A sight that was once thought to be unimaginable happened to be of occurrence. This 2019 Amrep N3 unit completes a heavy 300s route in south Phoenix. These were some of the most loaded 300s ever seen. Huge thank you to the extremely friendly operator and city of Phoenix for making this possible!

Thanx for getting up early to make this happen. What happened to the teddy bear that can be seen sitting on top of the cab about mid-way then is gone towards the end?

In my community, the over filled cans would not be serviced. Lid must be able to close. Homeowner would be charged for return trip.

Heil rapid ralis are bad for 300s to be honest and i live in Australia and we dont have 300s scorpions curtenders or any of that but heil rapid ralis are bad for 300s I hat is your opinion

I know the Scorpions have been discontinued (unfortunately) so I don’t understand why Phoenix wouldn’t just buy more Curbtenders, or even some Heil Durapack Rapid Rails. both are much better for 300s.

They're getting 16 new jumbo curbtenders won't be good for alleyways but they are also buying some more diesel CP rapid rails, agree with you on the durapack part, would be way better than the ones they just bought for 300 gals. They're also trying to get a demo of the new spartan truck, but I have no idea when that will happen

@@ArizonasDisposal Thanks for the reply, I just watched a video of the Spartan 300, looks like a pretty impressive unit, I might have to convince my boss to get a demo now.

A piss poor job, papers and stuff flying everywhere.

He doesn't really have that much control over it, mostly it's due to the truck type combined with overflowed containers. At the top you can see there's a hinge that tilts the arm into the hopper. Really poor design choice because if this hinge is too fast stuff gets everywhere. Even when the city tried to prevent stuff from flying out by adding those black rubber strips you see at the top, it still didn't do that good of a job fixing it. So overall it's not the driver's fault in this case, because it's very difficult to operate these amreps on 300 gallons.

@@ArizonasDisposal at the end of the day its the Residents responsibility to bag and tie the trash bags otherwise trash spills and the drivers dont have the luxury of time to clean up nasty shit from lazy residents

If people would bag they’re garbage and not overfill they’re containers it wouldn’t be as much of an issue. As a garbage man I can tell you we don’t have time to pick up every piece of trash that falls out of the truck due to people being to lazy to dispose of it properly.
