City of Glendale ⇨ Peterbilt Scorpion ASL Garbage & Recycle Trucks

The newest automated side loaders to hit the streets in the city of Glendale, Arizona. It's been some time since the city has purchased the 320 cabover model for their side load refuse trucks, dating back to 2011 or 2012 when they bought Heil Rapid Rails. In total, the city bought 5 of these 27 YD Scorpion ASL bodies, with two replacing their refurbished Scorpion units D66 & D63. The operator of D66 is featured in D96. In the second half of the video, D100 is featured collecting lineups of solid waste containers. Huge thank you to two of Glendale's finest operators, in some exceptional looking units!

Nice video! I like the sound of the engines, they remind me of the 2000/2001 Pete trucks that used to do my route in Los Angeles. Cool to see the first truck lid flipping! Have a great new year and God bless!
