Citroen had debuted with the C5 Aircross in 2021 and now the c3 in 2022. Citroen should expand the network of sales and service in India for garnering more sales and catering more buyers.

The car is amazing. But Citroen doesn't have wide sales and service options as this car lacks features. Rear defoggers and wipers must have provided. Moreover a good choice for a turbo engine.

The non turbo version better be priced on par with the wagon r. Otherwise its doomed to fail just like its elder sibling.

You Hoping for Wagon R ??? I'll be happy if they decide to keep the pricing on par with Nexon. Performance is great but lack of features and certain everyday things that've become basic for current driving scenarios like Day-Night IRVM and adjustable headrests + electrically adjustable ORVM is downright disappointing. And only 11 showrooms in India and after expansion they'll have only 20 throughout the country will also add to the low sales figures for the car

if they would have kept it like european version by introducing it as a hatchback they would have saved money to put some features in it but launching it as a micro suv is a not wise decision indian market is still not ready for this
Citroen C3 seems to be a good package with funky design, a good110ps 190Nm output, 6-Cogged Manual gearbox, and Versatility is also good. But it could've got more features.

If priced near kwid,it would make the segment crash...The premium for the turbo shouldn't be much
C3 is for those who loves driving but can't afford good driving cars. C3 has speed with comfort that's called good driving car. If C3 gives all features as others cars give then it's price is between 10-15 lakhs where this car compete with xuv300 and nexon then everyone says it is overpriced because citroen don't have that level network as other companies. Actually c3 doesn't compete with anycar this car has its own fanbase. It's like scorpio in it's segment. People will love this car surely.

The intro drift was just freaking phenomenal.
No automatic AC No rear wiper and defogger No power window control for rear in front No adjustable headrest for driver and co passenger Cheap door handles And lacks many features how Citroen thought it will compete with other brands if it manufactures car like this the only good thing is the turbo engine feeling sad for NA engine 😂😂

It has even less features than the suzuki ignis. First time seeing a company which provides less features than Suzuki.
Although there are some good bits, but few missing features like rear wiper/defogger and alto type door handles make it more of an entry level hatch
I had a Citroen xantia years ago and let me tell y’all, ride is freaking amazing in most of the Citroën cars!!

@@thespecific4430 Then kindly compare against hatchback in the same price segment. Kiger is a compact SUV. But I agree that if you want to buy a compact SUV car then it can never be a 1000cc naturally spirited car. But if you have to buy a good value for money Compact SUV then try driving the CVT turbo version of Kiger. Even Nexon will also cry for the cabin space, boot space, features and for the spirited drive offered by Kiger.
If the c3 fails in India, so will Citroen along with the buyers of the c5, one of whom is me. So hopefully pricing is very agressive and the car does good in the market (fingers crossed 🤞)

Almost all car brands follow same thing to make a budget car with decent performance .. Which we can observe " Performance is inversely proportional to build quality" Overall Citroen C3 is good 👍
Many features will be included in first facelift upgrades, maybe next year or so... depending on sales numbers of this cost cutting debut model.. .if they dont miss the usual segment norm features and add a sun roof, it can beat all competition. With this model ,they are going with toyota philosophy - " more the features given, more the number of trips to mechanics " so they just didn't give many easily broken features ,coz they dont want people to see it standing frequently at repair shops...👍👍🍀🍀🍀

It's better than Tata Punch in performance. Tata doesn't offer a better petrol engine. They Offer 3-cylinder engines which are fuel efficient but not powerful. They earlier used to offer small 4-cylinder engine in Tata Bolt but now not anymore in any car

That zest turbo petrol engine is a 8 valves unit (it is a good engine with great refinement and pulling power) but comparing turbo to turbo engine, altroz iturbo engine is much better as it is a modern unit with 12 valves...
atleast tata should learn how to give an interesting engine.... really fed up with tata's engine 😔

best engine on offer now...love the dash. Overall seems to be a good option, although Some parts look like they have been taken from the kwid, redigo models, for e.g the hood opener, the ac controls, and the lever to adjust the mirror etc

Things that are phenomenal 110 hp 190 nm torque Double drl Unique looks 6 speed manual 195 section tyres 180mm grnd clearance Beautiful dash 10” touchscreen One touch down power windows 0-100 in 10 Turbocharger 2600+ mm wheelbase Comfy seats Rear seat space Great pricing Things can improve: Non adjustable head whiplash protection (yes those are not head rests) Cluster (could have included tacho atleast) Leather wrap steering wheel (1000₹ job retrofit with custom cross stich) Placement of rear power window switch gear Powered Orvm 6 airbags where u at? So all in all a good product

@cheese I've seen 2 cars here in Bangalore... Citron c5.... The reason the cars are not seen is because they just started selling in India... At present they only have 30 odd dealerships in India..... C3 is basically a gateway fr them into the Indian market.. If it goes good, they'll come in full fledged....

It's a very big shame that it doesn't even get central locking as standard feature despite having features such as 10 inch infotainment 😒
Only looks good ( should I say funky) with nil essential features ( non adjustable headrest, 60/40 split rear seats, manual ORVM, absence of rear defogger and rear wiper). The only thing that could save this otherwise doomed vehicle is a killer price like entry price below Wagon R. Anything above that it would struggle since it doesn't have adequate sales/ service centres.

May be a unpopular opinion but a vitara Brezza VXI variant still makes a lot of sense to me to buy in the Indian market where the price range is 10-12 lakhs , sure isn’t a drivers car but has most of features required, proper 4 star safe , A proper crossover look not either too small like the punch or magnite . Sure would recommend people to still test drive it in a option
What I like about the Citroen C3 - split-headlamp; wraparound tail lamps; 10 different colour options(single-tone and dual-tone); 56 customisation options; dual-tone seats also look good!😁 What I don't like about the Citroen C3 - flap-type door handles; no rear wipers; no rear defogger; no reversing camera; old-school wire antenna(instead of a shark-fin antenna)! 😞 The Citroen C3 looks great in Polar White with a Zesty Orange roof, in my opinion!😁

I dont think this car would be priced from 5.5. i think this would be priced between 4.5 to 7-7.3 since this one lacks few basic features the competition offers. Also Citroen announced that the price will be a surprise!...so this will start arround 4 to 4.5 lac for the base varient and the top ones will be 7.5ish kind of....but definitely not 10lac

really? have you seen premium interior before ?... Man punch's interior is damn poor and no where near premium and filled with cheap plastics i was disappointed when i stepped inside the car, in TATA only safari have decent interior built quality other models are just sad. Check out reanult's kiger in the same price range and then sit inside punch. in budget hyundai cars interior are far better.

I hope they launch more extensive accessories packs that can be added to normal variants, like with Altroz. Without that this car will flop. 99% of car buyers won't be enthusiasts and they won't care about how good the engine is or how good the ride quality is. They will miss the features like no electric adjust or foldable ORVM, no day night irvm let alone auto dimming, no rear wiper (few actually use it but I've still people insist that cars have it, for some reason). Hope they add more extensive accessories packs soon.
