Mahindra scorpio and xuv are indian made cars and the cost will be anyway lesser than it's offering compared to foreign brands. High time understand the difference because this car and Tucson are imported and assembles here so the tax is more for imported car. So the pricing will be according to the rules. It's not the fault of company but the taxation rules. Edit : that's why vw and skoda shifting it's whole production to be completely in India post covid due to tax rules as all of their cars before the virtus, slavia, kushaq, taigun all of their cars were also using parts from Germany and assembled here. Now they have shifted to completely make in India to reduce taxes.
