Is a Citroen Berlingo good for a minicamper conversion?
A Citroen Berlingo is similar to a Peugeot Partner. It will give you enough room to convert the car to a minicamper. A Citroen Berlingo is a good van to convert to a minicamper for two persons.
Is a minicamper big enough for two persons? We have made our van to fit 2 persons.
The bed is 190cm by 120cm and is big enough for roadtrips.

    Great conversion. I have a berlingo made in 2014. Especially the sunshade is a great solution. You glued it on the roof? The outside table is also a very intelligent idea. I built a campingbox for the trunk which can be folded out. So you can sleep with two people easily. Problem we are four now. So we have less space, though we cant take out the rear seats. I think I will take some of your ideas and bring them into my modular campingbox. Great ideas.

    Well done, excellent effort and ideas in this build , is it handling the extra weight ok ? what do you do for ventilation during the night ? any fan exchanging the air or just open windows? and did this build change the car in any way or is it easy to change back to normal car after removing all the fittings?

  • @JorenDekker

    @JorenDekker

    5 жыл бұрын

    Wooah what a lot of questions! No problem at all! 1. The weight is not a big issue. It off course is a little slower and has a bit more fuel consumption. Its also a little lower when fully packed, so we have to be a bit carefull driving off road. 2. We mostly just crack a window. Last summer we slept with the back hood wide open because it was super hot and we were totally off grid so no problem. We have a musquito net so no problem also. 3. It could be build back, but we've mounted a floorplate and everything is a fitted and mounted inside the car. It will take some effort building it back but it's possible. We are selling the car, because we are building a camper in a bigger van soon for a very long roadtrip. If you need more info or pictures just hit us up at instagram @advantureproject
