Citizens of Heaven
In Philippians, Paul was writing to a church located in a city that was thoroughly Roman in all ways of life. Similarly, all of us live within the influence of a particular cultural and national context. As Paul reminds us, though, as Christians we have a citizenship that transcends all earthly, national, or geographical ties. Alistair Begg unpacks this truth from Paul, explaining that in our heavenly citizenship through Christ Jesus we find our true identity, security, and dignity.

I listen and receive so much from each sermon. It is always n Christ Jesus that I move and have my being.
Begg’s delivers his messages by gloriously incorporating biblical scriptures under the anointing of God as God alone provides His holy truth through his chosen servant Pastor Alastair Begg. This truth is hard to find in the times we live and I’m grateful for being able to listen and be strengthen daily.
Being called, on ward going, awaiting the blessed day, the glorious appearing of the the great God and Saviour Jesus Christ.
I've been a Christian since 16... Now 62.... I'm enjoying your sermons! Thank you
I’m so glad that Jesus loves all of us not because of our performance but because of us. That Christ found us of value and that he would give his life being worth of infinite value to purchase us thinking we were a good buy. My heart is full.
Thank you for reminding me of my identity in Christ and for the security and dignity I have because of that identity
I thank God for this post, Amen
Thank you Pastor Beggs.
Please pray for me....need encouragement...God bless this ministry
Thank you for this wonderful encouragement!!
I can’t explain to a non believer knowing Christ as an academic exercise , a taught think , and knowing Christ in faith , it’s dark and light literally , and I can go back in my mind and see as the non believer sees and it makes no sense at all ……the Holy Spirit working within literally opens up a new understanding, I think they call it a paradigm shift that is breathtaking 🙏🏻
Let us not lose sight that this is not our home , but we are bound to eternity through Christ Jesus who will meet us at our Eternal home after this short life has passed away.
Amen
Mr. Alister, you have been right on the last several sermons I’ve heard you give. Well, done, sir.
