same, after awhile they break down or wont be updated saying their broken then eventually the game will crash on me. Then ill have to search for the broken mod/asset which takes forever when you got 15+ mods and 1000+ assets

I played 100+ hours vanilla when I first got the game. After trying mods for the first time I haven't gone back! Now I have over 300 hours and still today spend hours at a time building cities and detailing them! I was uploading KZread videos for awhile but I don't anymore

There's also a mod that lets you paint resources like oil and ore wherever you need them, and I think another mod that makes it so your resources don't get exhausted. (So if you just want to design the city how you like and with specialized industry, you've got a lot more power to do that). I use and love most of the mods on your list, so figured you might be interested in these two for resources. I don't remember the names, but they're probably not hard to find. ("Resource brush", "unlimited resources")

I play modded, but I don't focus so much on detailing because I frankly don't like it, I prefer growing a city and focusing on infrastructure (though my cities are most times filled with traffic jams because I suck at knowing where to put highways and main roads). Some of my mods include Traffic Manager: President Edition or the Metro Overhaul Mod. Bitte mach weiter so tolle Videos, Grüße aus Sachsen!

My solution is always to put a clover intersection so that one side goes into the residential part of town and the other side goes solely to industry, your people want to get over there but they will clog the intersection, so put a simple two-lane road going ether above or under the highway to the industry directly from the residential because they have no street lights and will not stop small traffic.

Bist ein guter Detailler :) Was ich super finden würde, wäre ein Tutorial in Verbindung mit dem Bau einer (kleinen) Stadt. Dh du baust und erklärst bzw schreibst welcher Mod dabei zu tragen kommt, oder woher und wie Props etc gesetzt werden oder den detaillierten Strassenbau oder oder oder. Für Einsteiger ist es manchmal seeehr mühsam. Ich weiss noch wie lange ich für meine ersten vernüftigen Props gebraucht habe ;) Nur als Anregung. Mach weiter so. Thumb(s) up!

Hey danke:) du kannst mal in die beschreibung schauen unten bei mods for detailing, da siehst du die wichtigsten les dir am besten die Beschreibungen der mod creator durch wie sie funktionieren und wie die short cuts sind:D ich hatte das glück dass ich seit anfang an spiele und jeden monat so ein mod dazu gekommen ist da ist es natürlich leichter die step bei step kennen zu lernen, so alle aufeinmal ist glaube ich ein bisschen überfordernd, aber ich kann mal schauen was sich machen lässt wollte eh mehr tutorials machen😛 aber ich versprech mal lieber nichts denn das werd ich eh nich einhalten🤦🏼‍♂️

I would take modded if the game didn't run at 1 fps and take 6 hours to load

you can make pretty awesome vanilla intersections without road anarchy that allows you to work over certain areas for longer periods of time trying to fit a single lane better for you traffic management

All those mods will make an offer my PC cant refuse

I haven't used a vanilla growable & tree in my game in over a year. :) Frankly I haven't zoned anything in over a year, I plop everything by hand. (My 5.5 year old laptop runs 112 mods. Sure, it can't hit 60fps, but this isn't a shooter, you don't need more than 20fps for this game anyway. 18fps is perfectly playable.)

I upgraded my pc just for this game... In vanilla, it looks like you're making some sort of cartoon city but with mods, it completely changes every single thing from efficiency, looks, textures, and more. Thanks to the workshop community who worked hard to provide us with such game changes assets and mods. This game became the king of city building by a long shot thanks to them!

SURE. in that case, I have ryzen threadripper 1980x, dual titan xp sli, 64gb ddr4 and full rgb phase change cooling.

Since I've gotten used to mods, I can't play the vanilla game anymore, and when updates mess things up I will refuse to play the vanilla until the mods are caught up.

Even though mods make everything super pretty, and I love watching lets builds, it's not my way of playing the game. I love the vanilla game alot, skylines on itself is already a super solid game.

the thing is that these mods are for powerful pcs, whilst the laptops with the minimum requirements can run the stock game. I think this is fine as it is personal preference.

I played with all those mods and doesn't look like that :( what other settings you have to change to make it look like that!!

Hello! nice vids. I have some questions I want to buy cities SL, but im not sure about the DLCs. Im only gonna buy a few because they are quite expensive. Which ones are best? And is the game supported by the Steam Workshop?

What mod is used to make the water look realistic like that??? I can't find anything on steam or online 😫

Modded although I need to upgrade my PC it's kinda in between now, it runs just good enough to handle at least 500 assets/mods and could be better if I can successfully upgrade it, Idk if I already commented on this video, I already did watch it and mostly just came back to get the mods that are in description.

What addons did you use for the buildings and cars?

I mostly play modded in most games, not because I dont like what the game dev's have created, but more to the fact that there are more minds making creative additions to the game. Base game is always limited to the developer(s), modded is only limited by the community.

Mods, I try to get as realistic as I can get, its just more satisfying as you create.
