Fun watching the Video. I learned how to fly there in St Paul 50 years ago. Flew a C-500 there for the first time when I was 19 and Finished my career as a 767-400 Capt. so it brought back a lot of great memory’s. Nice Job and thanks again. Best

I'm a single engine GA pilot that has had to stop flying for medical and financial reasons but these days enjoy flying on my simulator. My favourite plane for the past ten years has been the Flight1 C510. I've found your videos to be very helpful in allowing me to improve my workflow in the cockpit. I'd love to get my hands on that checklist you use. Thanks for all the videos. I look forward to new ones to come.

Great video, good camera work, and sound. One word of "advise" if I may...As a long time ATP corporate (Jet) and then 20 years with the airlines, Checklist discipline is critical to safety. State values where applicable, i.e. fuel state amount planned (i.e. 3000 Lbs) and then state amount onboard (i.e. 3000 Lbs). Fly Safe and enjoy

Citation Mustang Pilot Don't use radar myself, but I have seen it. I think in a G1000 equipped plane. Looked like a clever way to figure it out when you think it may matter. To be honest, the timestamp link is magic. Didn't know what you were talking about at first. I just typed 15:15. Did it link again?

Nice video and aircraft. A question if I may. On descent you changed the altimeter setting from standard to area QNH at about 24,000'. I think the transition altitude in the US is 18,000'. What would you have done if ATC had asked for a levelling off at say FL210? There appeared to be quite a difference between STD and Local in your flight.

Peter Lovett Thanks for the good question. To stay ahead of the airplane on descent, I switch from standard to local baro upon being ASSIGNED an altitude below 18,000 ft. if the assignment were to change I'd simply go back to standard baro.
