Excellent cockpit coordination

The mustang is one of the most gorgeous private jets out there, hell it has wood paneling in the cockpit!

Congratulations for the excellent work of positioning the cameras. Fly with you is very nice, it's like we participated in the flight as we were in the cockpit. Thanks one more time, and continue doing that wonderful job, we learn a lot with you.....God bless you.....

Fun watching the Video. I learned how to fly there in St Paul 50 years ago. Flew a C-500 there for the first time when I was 19 and Finished my career as a 767-400 Capt. so it brought back a lot of great memory’s. Nice Job and thanks again. Best

I'm a single engine GA pilot that has had to stop flying for medical and financial reasons but these days enjoy flying on my simulator. My favourite plane for the past ten years has been the Flight1 C510. I've found your videos to be very helpful in allowing me to improve my workflow in the cockpit. I'd love to get my hands on that checklist you use. Thanks for all the videos. I look forward to new ones to come.

Great video, good camera work, and sound. One word of "advise" if I may...As a long time ATP corporate (Jet) and then 20 years with the airlines, Checklist discipline is critical to safety. State values where applicable, i.e. fuel state amount planned (i.e. 3000 Lbs) and then state amount onboard (i.e. 3000 Lbs). Fly Safe and enjoy

I like that emergency brief prior to TO. More pilots should consider what they're going to do if they lose an engine on TO, etc...

Nice video. No joke with PHX being hot. It got over 120F and a whole bunch of airliners had to wait until it cooled off before they could depart!

Just a thought, but could you do a video explaining the engine start and what to look for as you start each engine...I think that would make for an educational video.

When OAT is equal to ITT yes that thing is going to be sluggish.

Kristján Holm Thanks for the question. We dropped pax to catch a commercial flight at Sky Harbor. Added bonus, fuel is cheaper at PHX Cutter Aviation than SDL.

It was 20 years ago so if memory serves, I think about 6 months start to finish. I remember the check ride like it was yesterday.

Citation Mustang Pilot Don't use radar myself, but I have seen it. I think in a G1000 equipped plane. Looked like a clever way to figure it out when you think it may matter. To be honest, the timestamp link is magic. Didn't know what you were talking about at first. I just typed 15:15. Did it link again?

Corporate flying has its perks! Unlike the airline route for a career, corporate takes you to airports and areas of the world you may not experience in an airline enviroment. Good luck Evan. Stay in school and fly safe!!

I agree that P1 Driver is the gold standard, but don't sell yourself short, your videos are as excellent as they are enjoyable.

Did you deploy the gear way too far out? just curious, I've always put the gear out at about a 3 mile final. Great video!!

Av8tore71 When flying a coupled approach, I typically deploy the gear one dot below the glide slope outside the outer marker.

Can see my house at 27:10!

you have to expect to level off for faster jets

Nice video and aircraft. A question if I may. On descent you changed the altimeter setting from standard to area QNH at about 24,000'. I think the transition altitude in the US is 18,000'. What would you have done if ATC had asked for a levelling off at say FL210? There appeared to be quite a difference between STD and Local in your flight.

Peter Lovett Thanks for the good question. To stay ahead of the airplane on descent, I switch from standard to local baro upon being ASSIGNED an altitude below 18,000 ft. if the assignment were to change I'd simply go back to standard baro.

Why were you aiming your radar at the ground? Does your radar not have tilt controls?

Nothing to it...just like a big Cessna 150 with a Garmin G1000!
