Muhammad A Imam, Senior Manager Technical Marketing at Cisco, introduces the Catalyst 9000 Family and will talk about the common foundational elements and attributes of the C9K family of switches that takes us in the new era of networking. It talks about UADP 2.0 and Open IOS XE as the basis of Cat9K Family. The session goes through the details of the platforms and how it enable our customers to address the challenges of the new era in networking.

Which switch series work on UADP 2.0
why we need these catalyst 9000 family once we already have nexus family in our campus ??

Catalyst family is for Enterprise Environment and Nexus Family is built for Data Center
Why wouldn't I do Nexus instead?

Nexus 7K is for Primarily act as core data center switching ,and 9K is for automation , SDN .7k and 9K is for two different Purpose .
