probably because, in a sense, he was supposed to be. Before Thawne went back and killed Barry's mom and then took his place, the original timeline had Barry get powers a few years later than in the show and Cisco, Caitlin, and the real Wells were his team flash. That all got deleted when Thawn got stuck in the past and needed to take Wells' place to create The Flash sooner in the timeline so he could get home asap.

he should have said to cisco "to me you've been dead for centuries" as a joke before leaving

He's a nicer version of Harry with more humility. Harry is notably broken and acts kind of Thawne-like but without Thawne's more malicious traits like his pettiness.

I like the detail in the glasses, in season 1 original wells have those clear glasses, probably meaning a pure person, but when eobard takes his body, half of the frame is black meaning his double life black half means his evil side and the clear lens his disguise as a "good person"

Nice observation. Now I realize, each Wells have their own unique appearance, but now that you mention it, this Wells have clear glasses frame, to signify he is pure of heart, unlike the other two Wells we got earlier (Thawne and Harry)

This wells was humble kind just like earth 2 wells.

He is like the same person, but from Earth 1. After all, the timelines are almost the same, but with some changes, as Earth 2 Barry not being The Flash. Dr. Wells, has the same personality as H.R, since he is far different of Thawne.

If this was the end for the actor and all character wells and he wanted to leave the series, I would be satisfied and couldn't think of a better ending for the actor. Thank you Tom, I know he will be back.

Honestly, at 2:43 I was expecting to see red glowing eyes and the eerie phasing sound as Wells suddenly turns into the Reverse Flash where Cisco would then see Wells’s hand vibrate before vanishing in red lightning. That would've been epic!!

I personally love the wisdom and kindness of OG Wells and I want him to stay that way. I really hope Letscher comes back to sport Thawne's original face. Nothing personal against Wellsobard but I think we're ready for Letscher Thawne.

This Harrison wells from Earth 1 is part of the still force. After have seen 7x6 and the powers of whom uses the still force I'm truly convinced. They have similar powers

I know it’s really late in the game for this comment because season 7 has ended, but I just had a thought. What if in season 8 when we see Thawne again Timeless Wells shows up. All to see the look on Thawne’s face when he finds out the man he murdered is alive, priceless!!

OG Wells is a nicer Harry and genius HR

Wells and Cisco have a great bonding of friendship. Hence why he is so emotional even though he just met the OG Wells. One of the best Duo's to exist in TV-Series history.

I can't believe Harrison Wells is actually trapping himself in a time loop where he is reliving his relationship with Tess and both their deaths at the hands of the Reverse-Flash over and over again forever. This is a nigntmare😱

I just feel so bad this version of Harrison Wells from Earth-1 had his future completely stripped from him and taken away by Eobard Thawne. His Wife, Career, Reputation, Friends, Family, everyone gone in a snap by a sudden impulsive move because some idiot wanted to go home without fully understanding what he was doing. It kinda reminds me of myself. Even though I’m only 16 and take extreme amounts of stress and anxiety, which sucks. And people perceive me as neurodivergent like ADHD or Autism. But whatever. It just sucks that this Wells had his future completely taken from him.

I know how happy I would be to live in some happy times of my life.

Love makes us do things that might make no sense to us but makes perfect sense to the person making that choice. Besides, he can’t really move on if he can simultaneously see his whole life as it’s gonna play out from start to finish. I’d honestly rather die than to have his power set, it’s more tragic than useful

@@aerophine But as we’ve seen in earlier accounts of the show, reborn Wells will go back in time to be with his wife and the only way that can happen is when Tess was still alive with Wells as they both died around the same time. So, that means there will be two Wellses in Tess’s life unless reborn Wells goes back in time (as he has done) and kill his past self ( he was already pulled from the timeline so no paradox) to live with Tess and that now will probably mess up the timeline.
