The live final battle is back in the show. It returned permanently in December 2014.

Ya when I went it was CGI and blurry as fuck. Couldn't even tell what was going on. Pissed me off.

+eTech16 they didn't do CGI while the scene was out of the show. They replaced it with an alternate scene of the twins getting dressed up for their coronations. The only time they did CGI was that time at Comic-Con...

I'm surprised they didn't throw you out with you cam :). Since the death of Sarah this battle scene is played using a projection effect, you're watching the scene via projector, projected on that huge flatform.

They didn't project it. Instead, they replaced the whole scene (including projections) with an alternate scene, which they used in the past when one or more artists were injured and could not do the battle scene.

I went to see This show back in January. They did bring the final battle scene back live. Only they scaled down the the number of people in the fight scene: comparing to this video, looks like they cut down 2 of the forest characters so that the stage won’t be as crowded.

The only downside of the front row (and I know from experience in the 2nd row) is that you have to look pretty much directly upwards to see most of the action in this scene. I've seen this show 4 times and I try to go in the 6th or 7th row because it's easier to see everything while still being close

Were the wires being controlled or manipulated or strengthened in some way the characters who remained atop the stage i.e., the Counselor and some of the Chief Archer's men?

You can't. I unfortunately was at the show with the tagic accident, and I did record it (not knowing that there would be an accident) but I deleted it after they dismissed us from the theater, so that I would never post it online. Some heavy searching on Facebook could pull up a video if you really want it that badly

After Sarah Guyard died, if I heard correctly, they took this part of the show out. Can someone confirm of this is true please?

They took it out but, in December of 2014 the started performing it live again.

This is INSANE ! My god ...i understand these artists are used to take great risks...but working on a platform vertically in this height...something has to go wrong...I mean they are held from one cable ...if only this cable gets stuck once, in one of hundred people, the impact will do the rest. It´s not worth it ! No money can ever be enough to waste the live of these artists....So many of them said they had the strong feeling something would happen...fearing their next act...every nigt, again and again. But there is so much pressure...it´s all about money. and because they have 20 years of experience, they think it wont happen to them...hopefully...This is just WRONG...pushing them over their limits every night..A safety net would maybe look bad and in front of all it would make the People watching feel less thrilled about zhe Show, because it wouldnt be all about life or death ! But These artists signed a contract to perform at a very high Level, but not to put their lives at high risk just for someones amusement ! If These People want to get an ultimate kick , go bungee jumping and just guess the length of your rope ! But dont use other peoples lives for your adrenaline kick ! Everything is about money....ist so disgusting...If there is a need, a market for it, there will be people desperate enough to keep their jobs, to take the risk. Mankind is just disgusting.
