A lot of fans are now signing a petition to have the crappy showrunners removed and that's probably why Henry is no more. They think they can just do whatever with a story we deeply love, they think they can milk us for money by replacing the one we like, they don't give a damn about the wishes and feelings of their own fans, but in the end they won't collide with nothing but hatred for what they've done... Ciri indeed changed Geralt so much that he didn't even care about himself or even have second thought of killing Yennefer or anyone who would touch and harm Ciri. Ciri is his main priority and he acknowledges that. Like Jaskier said, "Like Father, Like Daughter."
