I know I said reverb and yes thats in there too but what I really meant was his vibrato. Got em mixed up, sorry. At first I thought it wasn't all him but then watched the video where he sings country songs, which is freaking awesome, but it was there, its all real and all him, sure it might get enhanced by autotune at times but damn, he rocks it. Not many ppl can pull that off but Posty sure does !!

Malone doesn’t need auto tune.Obviously it was an artistic decision to use it.He’s a great guitarist, vocalist. I would guess there is so much more He is able to do that hasn’t been revealed. Much respect from an older generation.

They put auto tune on every single performance and recording. Sometimes it is just more subtle so that it can't be heard without a trained ear but it has become the sound of pop for the past 15-20 years. It would sound "wrong" itlf it didn't have at least a lit auto tune

Many of the modern signers now are fantastic but no one can perform perfectly in tune all the time, not even the greats of the past, and things like auto tune are used are used to fixbthose minor issues. However, what most people think of as auto tune (Think T-pain) is an exaggerated use of the software and is meant to be an effect to make it sound more robotic. Also, it is important to remember that even before auto tune there were all sorts of tricks used to correct mistakes so even the favorites of the past "cheated"

the autotune might be excessive, but thats how he does it, thats post malone, hes amazing tbh... his songs are just unique

Its acctually a very subtle auto tune and that not what your hearing. Youre hearing the exessive amount of vibrato and temolo he puts into his vocal technique. Thats the way he sings. The wobbly notes at the end of every line.

I remember this first dropping during covid when we couldn't attend any live music, this was incredible to see. It uplifted me and helped me stay sane. I saw posty live in may 2023 for the first time and it was incredible, a generational talent and amazing human.

Running in a circle. Always come back to listen this amazing version.

the end of december i lost my best friend in an accident, they played this at his funeral & i still can’t bring myself to listen to this song. but i did today and i’m in tears. if you have ever lost a loved one i’m very sorry. i hope you all are doing okay & being safe.
