Alternative proof. Construct point C' (C prime) on circumference such that BC' // DE. By alternate angle theorem, angle C'BD = angle BAD. Note that the diameter from A perpendicularly bisects BC' so triangle BC'A is isosceles with BA = C'A. Therefore BC'A = C'BA. Then by angle in same segment theorem, angle BCA = angle BC'A so angle BCA = angle BAD. (QED)

But sir what if the chord makes an obtuse angle with the tangent? How can you prove the same? I mean If your AB chord would be in place of AC and B point would situate at it's opposite side then how can you prove this ... I mean the geometry should remain same for it ...would you pls?
